How we miss you. We are enjoying our experience here in Michigan and have learned so much but there are some things that can't be replaced. The first things that come to mind are family and mountains. We are so glad we were able to come and visit before Dave became crazy busy with clinicals beginning and his classes including the dreaded gross anatomy. We were able to do so much while we were there. Some of the things we did included.
-Hiking with family. Catching salamanders was especially fun.
-Cutting 12 inches off my hair to donate to Locks of Love.
-Tracy Aviary.
-This is the Place Heritage Park. Kaia loved riding the horses. She has had a huge obsession with horses for a long time now.
-Camping in the Uintas with the Hansen Family and fishing.
-Bugling elk with my Dad.
-Going to the zoo. Kaia got a little frightened by a polar bear emerging from the water right in front of her face!
-Going to the aquarium.
-Hiking to Twin Lakes and around down by Lake Solitude and then another hike to Sunset Peak where while feeding crackers to a chipmunk Dave got bit! Ha Ha Every time we went hiking we saw at least one moose. It was awesome. Oh how we miss our mountains. With that said we are excited to see what all the hype is about with Michigan in the fall!
