Even the youngest visitors can become Change Agents: The new Children’s Gallery at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta makes the big themes of civil and human rights tangible through play. Designed by ATELIER BRÜCKNER, the gallery becomes a secret headquarters for future changemakers. Through interactive stations, games, movement and creative tasks, children explore key questions of our society: Who am I? How can I meet others with empathy? What does courage mean? And how can I make a difference? Rather than presenting history as something distant, the exhibition invites young visitors to discover their own role in shaping a fairer world. They encounter inspiring role models, dance to music from different cultures and make personal pledges for the future. The message is clear, uplifting and empowering: everyone can make a difference!
