Turning challenges into measurable impact. 🌍 At our Elmshorn site, our team has been tackling an extraordinary task across four major projects. A total of 41,472 barrels has been filled with suspected contaminated soils. 🛢️ If stacked on top of each other, each measuring 0.80 m in height, they would reach a total of 33.18 km. 📏 That’s almost four times the height of Mount Everest! These numbers reflect not only the scale of the work, but also the dedication, precision, and responsibility of our teams in environmental remediation. Around the world… ✈️ 🇩🇪 This time, our journey doesn’t take us very far. We’re staying in Germany – yet it brings us to a truly special and remote place: Heligoland. Located in the North Sea, around 50 km off the mainland, Germany’s only offshore island captivates visitors with its unspoiled charm and unique natural surroundings. Here, Bauer Spezialtiefbau carried out injection works over a length of 70 m to secure the harbor breakwater – a project that was anything but ordinary.
