Integrating emission reduction choices into everyday shipping Climate‑related shipping decisions should feel accessible and actionable. With GoGreen Plus, you can choose certified book‑and‑claim solutions using more sustainable fuel attributes across air and ocean freight, offered in three flexible levels: Base, Premium, and Select. It allows you to incorporate certified emission-reduced options directly into your existing logistics planning. 👉 See how GoGreen Plus fits your goals https://okt.to/RlMI25 #DHLGlobalForwarding #GoGreenPlus #Sustainability #Decarbonization #Logistics __ GoGreen Plus is a value-added service to a DHL shipment contributing to decarbonization measures within DHL’s logistics network. By using alternative fuels and/or technologies DHL reduces the usage of fossil fuels in the mode of transport used for the GoGreen Plus shipment. This does not necessarily mean that the specific shipment is physically transported with the assets using these fuels or technologies. Further information, e.g. on concrete decarbonization measures is available at https://okt.to/FwkaU9

The cold chain for pharma just got more resilient. 🌡️ DHL Global Forwarding has launched a fully operational temperature-controlled air freight connection between Brussels (BRU) and Cincinnati (CVG) - a key lane linking Europe's leading pharma gateway with one of the US's fastest-growing life sciences hubs. This is part of DHL Group's EUR 2 billion investment in Life Sciences & Healthcare, and the upgrades go well beyond a new route: → Dedicated Boeing 777 freighter, 6 days/week → GDP-compliant end-to-end cold chain processes → Temperature-control dollies for tarmac-to-warehouse continuity → Advanced passive packaging using phase-change materials Why does this matter? Biopharmaceuticals, cell & gene therapies, and clinical trial materials are growing fast, with shipments getting smaller and temperature requirements getting stricter (typically 2–8°C). ✈️ Air Freight Market Update – April 2026 Global air freight market conditions remain under pressure, with demand volatility, constrained effective capacity, and elevated rate levels driven by Middle East disruptions and persistently high fuel costs. 📦 Intra‑Asia continues to anchor demand. Global air cargo volumes declined 4% YoY in March as disruptions at Gulf hubs slowed global flows, while Intra‑Asia trade grew 7% YoY, supported by technology and consumer goods shipments. 🛫 Capacity is tightening across key corridors. Global air cargo capacity fell 3% YoY MTD in late April, with the Gulf region experiencing the sharpest decline, even as Asia–Europe capacity increased as airlines rerouted services to bypass disrupted Middle East hubs. ⚠️ Middle East disruptions are reshaping networks. Ongoing airspace restrictions and rerouting continue to suppress Gulf export volumes, reduce schedule reliability, and extend transit times across Europe, Africa, and Asia‑linked trade lanes. ⛽ Fuel costs and rates remain elevated. Jet fuel prices stayed extremely high in April, prompting widespread emergency surcharges and keeping air freight rates structurally elevated, with spot rates significantly higher year on year. 📈 Volatility is expected to persist into Q2. Tight effective capacity, high operating costs, and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty are expected to keep air cargo markets unstable through the coming months. 🌊 Ocean Freight Market Update - May 2026 Global ocean freight conditions remain firm, with strong demand, constrained effective capacity, and elevated rate levels driven by sustained fuel cost pressure and ongoing disruptions. 📦 Demand remains strong. Global container demand is up 7% year to date, driven by robust export volumes from Asia, with growth continuing across most trade lanes except North America while European export volumes remain weak. 🛳️ Capacity remains constrained. While nominal fleet capacity is expected to grow by around 3% year on year in 2026, effective capacity continues to be limited due to ongoing Suez diversions and persistent port congestion impacting network reliability. ⚠️ Operational disruptions continue to impact flows. Middle East re-routing, inland constraints, and equipment shortages are extending transit times and reducing reliability, particularly on MENAT and Indian Subcontinent trades. ⛽ Fuel costs continue to support elevated rate levels. High bunker prices following recent Middle East developments have led to widespread emergency surcharges, keeping freight rates elevated and driving further increases through Q2. 📈 Market volatility is expected to persist. Rates and reliability are likely to remain under pressure throughout 2026 as carriers manage capacity amid high fuel costs, congestion, and ongoing operational challenges. 👉 Discover the full Ocean Freight Market Update: https://okt.to/fv36OF #DHLGlobalForwarding #OceanFreight #MarketOutlook #SupplyChain #LogisticsInsights
