𝗔 𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 More than 120 years ago, our company, then known as „Märkische Eisenwaren-Fabrik GmbH”, issued this invoice for the delivery of two vises ordered on November 13, 1901. What may look like a simple historical document today actually reflects our origins in craftsmanship and manufacturing in Halver. From producing vises, locks, and metal components at that time to operating today as the Märkisches Werk, our journey has been shaped by precision, quality, and continuous innovation.

This month we recognize Manuel, who has led our Industrial Engineering department since March 2023. As Head of IE, he is responsible for both the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team. Manuel drives a wide range of strategic and operational projects from process optimization to the supervision and initiation of investment projects. He plays a key role in factory planning and is closely involved in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment. With a strong focus on workflow efficiency and solving production challenges, Manuel works on optimizing work plans and improving the performance of manufacturing systems. He also maintains a close exchange with our Sales department to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and customer needs. His structured approach, combined with a deep understanding of production processes, makes Manuel a central force in shaping the future of our operations. 𝗠𝗪 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 Yesterday, under perfect April sunshine, we hosted a wonderful family day at our Halver site. Colleagues from our second location in Großbodungen, Thuringia joined us with their families, making it a truly special day for everyone. Our teams introduced their workplaces, giving guests a hands-on impression of how our production works, with some of our robots even in action. With production tours through our new halls, great food, and plenty of activities for kids, there was something for everyone. The highlight? The Bobby car race, where even our management couldn’t resist joining in 🏁

𝗠𝗪 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 Märkisches Werk has once again received the "Central Bank Eligibility" certificate from the Deutsche Bundesbank (German Central Bank), which represents a significant recognition of our creditworthiness. Only a select few number of companies are awarded this certification which indicates that MW meets the Deutsche Bundesbank’s strict requirements regarding our financial stability and creditworthiness. Receivables of a central bank-eligible company are so secure that they can be used by banks as collateral for monetary policy purposes. This is not only a sign of our financial reliability and sound business practices but further evidence of our stability as a business partner. We are immensely proud of this award and see it as an incentive to continue maintaining our high standards.

This month, we recognize Mohamed, who has been part of Märkisches Werk since 2010. He started as a Quality Manager and, in 2021, took on the role of Director of Quality Management, leading the function across multiple locations. In his role, Mohamed ensures that our products consistently meet the highest quality standards, even in the face of complex challenges. By leading his team across different sites, he maintains a unified and industry-leading level of quality while continuously driving further development. He establishes the management structures needed not only to meet high standards but to turn them into a competitive advantage. In addition, he sees himself as a key driver of digital transformation within quality management. For our customers, Mohamed plays a crucial role in ensuring reliability and trust. Together with his team, he oversees material testing and failure analysis to guarantee that every component meets the extreme requirements of our industries. His work ensures that the promises we make to our customers are consistently fulfilled from both a technical and quality perspective. By strengthening the entire value chain through modern quality strategies and advanced measurement methods, he helps prevent errors before they occur and improves process efficiency.
