Dear valued Customers, Partners and Friends, as the year comes to an end, it is time to look back. 2025 was a challenging one – not only for us. That is why we are even more grateful to have such wonderful and loyal customers, both large and small, who stand by us and strive for success. Thank you! We want to share hope and confidence, so we support “Hermann Hildebrand Haus” - a place for children in care. https://lnkd.in/earbkEwm We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a great start to the New Year! We’re excited to keep working with you in 2026 in #photonic #testing #packaging and much more. All the best, Aljoscha Schu and Simon Kibben and the team behind.

🔬 #FIT4Q Project Meeting in Bremen. On October 6th, 2025, Photonics Foundry hosted the second in-person meeting of the Trilateral #FIT4Q project at their facilities in Bremen. The project’s goal is to reduce fiber-to-PIC coupling loss by improving the alignment accuracy between fiber and waveguide, a key step toward advancing scalable photonic integration for quantum technologies. Each partner contributes their expertise to a specific stage of the process: MicroAlign – improving the pitch accuracy of the fiber in an array. AIXEMTEC GmbH – advancing fiber-array to PIC alignment accuracy. Photonics Foundry – optimizing the fiber-array fixation method for improved alignment accuracy. QuiX Quantum – setting performance targets, as in their quantum computers every photon matters. Fraunhofer IZM – supporting the consortium with novel packaging technologies and measurement methods. As part of the meeting, participants toured Photonics Foundry’s cleanrooms to experience their state-of-the-art photonic packaging capabilities firsthand. Our team members Dario Lo Cascio and Laura M. represented MicroAlign, contributing to this collaboration advancing the future of quantum photonics. #Photonics #IntegratedPhotonics #Innovation #Quantum

Laser World of Photonics 2025 - Wrap-up! ✨ 🙌 The conference brought together a mix of quantum and photonics companies under one roof and we had a blast connecting with pro teams, partners, and innovators. We made new connections within the integrated photonics community and its users, exchanging valuable insights for future technologies. A highlight for us, meeting our partners from the #FIT4Q project at the QuiX Quantum booth! QuiX Quantum, Fraunhofer IZM ,AIXEMTEC GmbH, Photonics Foundry, Quantum Delta NL, VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH. 🔗 FIT4Q – Led by QuiX Quantum and MicroAlign, which is dedicated to reducing optical losses for photonic quantum processors through high-precision fiber array assembly and advanced photonic packaging. 👉 Read more about the project: https://lnkd.in/gkHTvwhc It was valuable to meet in person and see the momentum building behind this collaborative effort. #LaserWorldOfPhotonics #FIT4Q #Photonics #QuantumTechnology #FiberArrays
