By financing these solutions, we contribute to climate change mitigation and sustainable economic development. ☀️One successful example is LLC Farconi, a spice producer from Kutaisi, Georgia, with more than 28 years of experience in this industry. For many years, the company’s growth and expansion of production capacities led to a significant increase in electricity consumption, which became a challenge for its operations. In 2024, the company decided to take action: With the support of ProCredit Bank Georgia and within the framework of an EBRD project, Farconi installed a 225 kW solar power plant on its factory roof. 💡Today, thanks to this investment, the company’s electricity consumption is powered by a clean, renewable source. Both production facilities owned by Farconi now operate entirely on energy generated by the solar power plant. The benefits are manifold: Making the switch to clean energy  has not only reduced costs but has also strengthened the company’s resilience and sustainability. Bulgaria has joined the Eurozone – a major step for businesses and investors. On 1 January 2026, Bulgaria officially adopted the euro, becoming the 21st member of the Eurozone. This marks the culmination of a 25-year journey towards deeper European integration and creates significant opportunities for businesses and investors. The move will fully eliminate the currency risk, help to reduce transaction costs and strengthen investor confidence. It also unlocks access to deeper capital markets and fosters cross-border trade and international collaboration. At ProCredit Holding, we see this as a catalyst for the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), innovation, and sustainable investments. “The benefits clearly outweigh the risks.
