  • What do OEM leaders really look for in a manufacturing partner today? Join our colleagues Steve Breen, Global Director R&D, and Bill Ruth, Vice President Sales & Marketing NA, for an upcoming MassMEDIC panel discussion together with Charlie Quirico from Bracco Diagnostics and Ronald Herdman from Bausch + Lomb. Supplier decisions in MedTech have become far more complex than evaluating cost and capacity alone. Topics such as supply chain resilience, speed to market, innovation support and long-term collaboration are playing an increasingly important role. The discussion will explore what contributes to successful OEM–manufacturer relationships and cover topics including: – strategic sourcing priorities – innovation and engineering collaboration – supply chain and scalability considerations – cross-functional alignment during supplier selection We look forward to a valuable exchange of perspectives and insights across the MedTech industry. 📅 June 04, 2026 ⏰ 12:00 PM EST Please register here: https://lnkd.in/d3buuCij Feel free to share this with others who may be interested in joining the discussion.

  • Meet the Pets of Röchling Medical 🐾 From dogs and cats to parrots … many of our colleagues have animals themselves and know how important health, well-being and easy everyday care can be. Swipe through to meet some of the companions behind Röchling Medical and hear what matters most to their owners. 🐕🐈 One thing becomes clear very quickly: ease of use, reliability and stress-free care play an important role in everyday life with animals. These are also important aspects in companion animal health and part of what shapes our work in the veterinary market. Over the coming days, we’ll share more insights and solutions as our veterinary series continues – now with a focus on companion animal health.

  • 🌍 Sustainability is no longer a future topic. It is already part of today’s expectations. In our recent poll series, we explored different sustainability topics that are increasingly shaping discussions across the industry – from renewable energy and carbon transparency to science-based climate targets. While perspectives and priorities still vary depending on the context, one thing is becoming clear: These topics continue to gain relevance. That’s why we have already started to act on this development. As two examples from our sustainability activities, we are: ✅ Increasing the share of green electricity as a direct lever to reduce emissions in manufacturing ✅ Committing to the Science Based Targets initiative and defining targets across Scope 1–3 Both initiatives were already initiated in 2025, with the clear understanding that expectations in these areas will continue to grow. At the same time, they represent only a small part of our broader group-wide sustainability strategy, covering “Products, People and Planet”. For us, sustainability means building structures early, taking concrete action and continuously developing further.

🔍 In the final part of our poll series Sustainability – what matters most?, we’re adding one more perspective: the balance between cost and sustainability. In our last poll, responses indicate that SBTi commitments are increasingly becoming relevant in partner and supplier selection, particularly within the next 1–3 years. Looking at the results so far, it becomes clear that sustainability is gaining importance – but the way it translates into real decisions can differ significantly. For this last question, we’d like to look at how sustainability and cost are balanced in practice. Where do you see your organization today? ▶️ Take a moment to vote and feel free to share how you experience this in your day-to-day work.

A great day in Memphis. Our colleagues Bill Ruth and Johny Safi recently joined the ODT Forum, connecting with industry experts and exchanging on current topics in orthopedic device manufacturing. It was good to see valuable conversations and perspectives coming together throughout the day. We’re excited to continue these conversations on topics affecting the orthopedic industry at OMTEC in June! Will we meet there?

In livestock health, performance is measured in scale, speed and reliability. As demand for animal protein continues to grow, expectations for efficiency, sustainability and traceability are increasing just as fast. For pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery systems, this means: solutions must perform reliably in the field, enable mass vaccination, and support evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements. From durable, field-ready containers to approaches that integrate sustainability and future requirements – packaging plays a critical role in modern livestock medicine. Take a closer look at how we support next-generation livestock solutions.

  • As part of our Sustainability – what matters most? poll series, we’re looking at another key topic: Science Based Targets (SBTi). In our last poll, perspectives on LCA and PCF varied, highlighting that the topic is still evolving across the industry. Now we turn to Science Based Targets (SBTi). More and more companies are committing to clear emission reduction targets. But how much does this actually influence expectations when working with partners and suppliers? We’d really value your perspective – it only takes a few seconds to vote.
