A few days ago, at Düsseldorf airport I bumped into Joey el Morabit, a TK Elevator technician from Rotterdam, and his family. I really enjoyed the conversation with Joey – what a great guy!! He has only been with us for a few months, and shared his perspective on our recent announcement: honest, real-time feedback from the frontline. I was especially pleased to hear how our leader in the Netherlands, Birgitta Van den Driessche is taking the time to communicate clearly and support our people. A clear reflection of the strength we have across our frontline teams. #TKElevator #MoveBeyond

Fresh thinking is starting to reshape even the basics of the built environment. In this #MIPIM blog post, Bora Gülan from TK Elevator looks at elevators in a new light: how they influence the ways buildings perform and cities function - and not just as a functional element of a space. As urban environments grow more complex, vertical mobility is playing a larger role in how people move, how buildings connect, and ultimately how value is created across entire developments. This shift reflects a broader industry evolution, moving from isolated buildings to more connected, integrated environments. 👉 Read the full blog article here: https://lnkd.in/eadjr7PA 📸: Unsplash/Zhuojun Yu #MIPIM2026 #GlobalUrbanFestival

Last week, my Senior Leadership Team and I had the opportunity to spend time with our fantastic teams in Asturias, Spain, a region with a strong footprint for TK Elevator. We visited our Innovation and Engineering Centers in Gijón as well as our Escalator and Passenger Boarding Bridge factories in Mieres. It was inspiring to see firsthand the expertise, dedication, and passion behind our solutions. Especially in our escalator operations, you can clearly see how much modern infrastructure depends on precision, reliability, and long-term thinking. Escalators play a critical role in keeping cities, airports, metro systems, and railway networks moving safely and efficiently every day. As expectations around safety, digitalisation, sustainability, and lifecycle performance continue to grow, our teams continue driving innovation across these areas. That is why I am especially looking forward to our upcoming #EscalatorInfrastructureDays on 10–11 June in Hamburg, where experts, consultants, operators, and infrastructure partners from across the industry will come together. Our company is going through exciting transformational changes while we continue building on a strong first half of the year and advancing our business and innovation agenda. I thank my entire Europe Africa team for their dedication, passion, and hard work. #TKElevator #MoveBeyond #Asturias #Infrastructure #Escalators #UrbanMobility #PublicTransport #Innovation #Manufacturing Music courtesy of pavetraxx
