About the Project

We are delivering a software development programme for a leading pan-European real estate investment manager with over €56 billion in assets under management. The project involves building an AI-powered data ingestion and validation platform automating financial data processing from approximately 100 external service providers across Europe. The platform uses Java/Spring, React, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and Kubernetes, with AI components handling file mapping, anomaly detection, and natural language business rules. Delivery is phased across nine use cases, beginning with Discovery before moving into sprint-based implementation across three commercial modules.

The Role

An experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery, acting as the primary point of contact between our delivery team and the client's product owners, stakeholders, and IT teams. A hands-on delivery leadership role requiring someone equally comfortable at senior stakeholder level and close to the technical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Discovery including requirements walkthroughs, backlog refinement, and delivery planning
• Own sprint roadmap, milestone plan, resource plan, and risk and dependency register
• Chair governance meetings and report programme status to internal and client leadership
• Oversee sprint ceremonies, UAT support, deployment activities, and hypercare periods
• Manage scope, budget, timeline, and commercial change request governance
• Ensure all documentation is produced to standard and on time
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to client teams at project close

Required Experience

• Proven delivery of complex software programmes involving data engineering, automation, or AI/ML
• Enterprise client delivery in financial services, real estate, or regulated environments
• Strong Agile background - sprint planning, backlog refinement, release management
• Experience managing distributed teams across backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and data engineering
• Senior stakeholder management including CTO and product owner engagement
• Fixed price commercial structure and change control management
• Strong governance documentation - status reports, risk registers, RAID logs

Desirable

• Data ingestion, ETL/ELT, or financial data automation experience
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, ERP systems, and enterprise reporting tools
• AI or LLM programme delivery experience
• Real estate or fund administration knowledge
• Bilingual English/German
• PRINCE2, PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or SAFe certification

Languages: English essential. German a strong advantage.
