Project Manager

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Project Manager to be based at our office/ our customer’s site in Augsburg

Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee cross‑functional industrial and automation projects within our Aerospace Customer ecosystem in Augsburg. This role requires strong leadership, structured project governance, and the ability to navigate aerospace processes while coordinating technical and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring alignment with Airbus standards and industrial requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across the Customer organisation.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and reporting.
• Oversee activities related to industrial automation and control systems, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance.
• Drive communication with German‑speaking stakeholders and ensure clear, structured project updates.
• Monitor project performance, budget, and milestones, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational excellence standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Professional German language proficiency at least.
• Strong knowledge of Aerospace processes and governance.
• Proven experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly structured industrial environment.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2).
• Experience with Aerospace industrial systems, automation platforms, or digitalisation initiatives.
• Background in engineering, industrialisation, or manufacturing environments.
