Grandma Judy and Lexie

Lexie - 6 months old! My goodness where does the time go? Our precious Lexie is 6 months old today! I realize I am such a slacker blogger that it was only 2 posts or so ago that I was announcing her birth! Such is life! I can honestly say that I have loved every minute of the last 6 months (minus some health issues). I am always telling Dean how I don't remember the time going by very fast when Lindy was a baby. When I thought about though, I didn't even have my brain surgery until Lindy was 6 months old, no wonder it went by slow as I was so sick and did about everything I could to make it through each day! How thankful I am to Heavenly Father that he cured me and that we were able to get over that hurdle and that we were blessed with Lexie! Lindy and Lexie are already so different, but we love them both SO very much! It really is nice to have the 4 years difference in age. Lindy is such a good helper and she adores her little sis. I enjoy the quiet times I get with Lexie - rocking her to sleep, playing with her, or just talking to her. Motherhood is such a blessing and
privilege that I will always treasure! I started my job at the IRS and worked for 5 weeks and have been furloughed ever since. Honestly the furlough was a blessing in disguise as I was having a hard time physically with lack of sleep! I enjoy getting a paycheck and a little interaction with others, but I miss my girls and Dean in the evenings. I am HOPING to eventually get part-time (when we go back to work) but have to put in so much time before they will even consider it. Dean is doing well, same '
ol same '
ol. He is still one of the 11-year-old scout leaders and as always takes excellent care of me and the girls. I admire and love him more and more each day! Lindy is busy as ever with school, swimming lessons, and most of all her "social" life.
lol She loves to play with friends and asks me DAILY who she can play with. She is very smart and amazes me how much she remembers! Lexie continues to grow and do things that I still think she's too young for.
lol We laugh as she works on getting the 6-pack abs everyday. She tries so hard to sit up but she's not quite there. She laughs and plays and is such a content loving baby! Life if busy and fun for us all. We are looking forward to beautiful weather so we can spend more time outside soaking up the sun and making memories!
