It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's beginning to look like Christmas at the Coy house. Dean and I kicking and screaming "gave in" and bought a fake Christmas tree this year. I know....I know....totally lame! We both LOVE the real thing but with the price of real trees and how quickly they dry - and not having the convenience of paying the Forest Service $5 for a tag, we decided to pay $100 for a fake one. Anywho, the house is all festive inside and out, the Christmas goodies have been given out (notice Lindy "helping" me in the kitchen), Christmas cards sent, and presents wrapped - all while working full-time and being a mommy too! I am quite impressed in myself, definitely a 360 degree difference from last Christmas. UGH! Anywho....we're all excited for the coming family parties and just being together for the holidays. We certainly count our blessings each and everyday for all that the Lord provides for us. I'm guessing the next update on the blog will be with Christmas party pictures. Thanks for taking a peek! :)

We're so glad that Daddy's home!!

Dean was gone from Monday until Thursday to some training for work in Las Vegas. Although I had babysitting help from the in-laws a few days while I worked, I still felt like a single parent when I was home. It just goes to show how much I rely on Dean because he's such a great husband and daddy! Anyway, we're so glad to have him home! I took yesterday off and baked Christmas sugar cookies (all the while Lindy was crying at my feet because she wanted my attention) for the neighbors so I fell on top of things getting goodies out so early. I can't believe how quickly Christmas is approaching, only two more weeks until our O'Camb family Christmas party - I can't wait! :)

More pictures of Lindy on her birthday. She cleans up pretty well! :)

Happy 1st Birthday Lindy!!!

Lindy's birthday was on November 8th but we celebrated it with the family on November 10th. My friend Nikol made Lindy her own cake to destroy - a darling teddy bear. Lindy loved it and tore into it after everyone stopped watching her. She had SO much fun with all of her cousins but didn't even care about opening presents. It's hard to believe our little girl is already a year old, where does the time go? We love you Lindy!!
