today i'm still making envelopes. tomorrow i will receive my new postcard babies, so so looking forward to see them.

also i made some new little business cards a few days ago, there are four different illustrations to choose from. no matter that it's more simple and easy to have the cards printed by the printing house, i still like to make it one by one by myself. the little business cards are very cute, i wish they will bring people happiness and being cherished.

it's been raining nonstop all day, makes the air even more colder

there's so many things that we need to catch up with, but we're both still recovering from the hospital shock / experience

please be patient with me for a bit more time, i'll try to put myself together soon

today's lunch

i am so in love with these pumpkin chicken miso soup with a bit white sesame and japanese shichimi on it

very simple and easy to cook as well

-

how to cook

01. slice garlic, onion, pumpkin into 5mm thick
02. put them all in pot with just water and cook with medium fire
03. slice the chicken into bite-size, add into the pot when the soup is boiled
04. keep on cooking until the pumpkin is soft and cooked
05. add miso into the soup
06. when the soup is boiling again, then it's ready
07. seasoning with proper amount of salt, black pepper, white sesame, and shichimi

french mustard sauce with lettuce and sweet pepper salad

axel is fine and back home now, we can finally sleep in our own bed and and cook nice food to eat

thank you once again for your kind and good will, they must have help to heal in some magical way

i'm so hungry now, i think i will cook some japanese udon noodle soup for lunch

axel says " thank you ! " for all of the kind and warm messages on the last post, he's doing well and it looks very promising that we can go back to our little home very very soon !

one more little news !

in february, we will fly back to france and live with his parents in a small town that's one hour train away from paris for a few months. my mother in law is not so well these days because she has lung cancer, so we're gonna spend as much time as possible with her

our original plan was taking off on the last day of january before the crazy chinese new year vacation starts, but now because of axel's new condition, he can't take air plane at least within one month, because the pressure in the plane will crash his lung if he wasn't fully recovered. so, changing plan, we will leave in february

life is fulled of surprises, good or bad, happy or sad, we shall try and do our best to live in the moment, and enjoy whatever life brings us, and cherish the time with our love ones

i know that i've already said it once, but i just wanna say it one more time,

for the first days of the new year, axel and i spent our time in the hospital

january 1st, axel was checked in the emergency room for Pneumothorax, which means there's a tiny hole on the right side of his lung that that leaks air into the lung

we're crossing fingers that he won't need a real operation and it will healed by itself within 3 days

never thought the first post of year 2011 would be like this, but never the less, i wish, really really really wish, that everyone will be fine and healthy, please take good care of yourself and take good care of your love ones as well
