saturday at sister’s

Woke up this morning to two little wet noses wanting to go outside. Sister had already let them out and their little toes were icy cold. It’s only about 37 degrees this early morning. We are loving the cooler weather.

Sister and I plan to go shopping for boots today. Stop first to feed my little kitties, get fuel, go to the bank, etc. Looking for western boots. I have three pairs and Sis wants to try on some boots for herself.

Coffee, shower, play with pups then get on down the road. It is a bright sunshiny morning and we are ready for anything. How about something cute to start the day! Not from etsy. Taken from my sister’s computer files (photo credit not available).

Meet me at Milagros

Now that the weather is getting warmer and sunnier, the sisters decided to meet for lunch at our favorite mexican restaurant. We always have a great time getting together and having a good chat and a laugh or two! I forgot to take a photo of the food. Wonder why I remember AFTER the food is gone?! It was delish-us. about the other day

I previously promised myself that I would live out loud more. So, last Monday when I went to the lake to photograph…

I was sitting home feeling sorry for myself, kind of gloomy, not knowing what to do with myself. I was thinking also, that if I took my camera to the lake that I would see something to cheer me up. I usually feel better just by getting out of the house and getting a little bit of sunshine. Well, it works. I grabbed my trusty Nikon, went for a drive-in burger and then off to the lake. Voila! There were the boys! I even got out of my car to take some photos. It felt great to walk on the grass and get close to the action. There were a lot of people sitting on the grass watching the show. And it was so windy! I really did feel better with the sun on me and the wind and the water, and the fun.
