Just another day in paradise. Temperatures in the 90’s, heat index higher. Wishing I was by the sea, dipping my toes in the ocean. I need to get an inflatable pool for Bear-Bear. Or at least a little tub.

Art, etsy, of course. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were off Thursday and Friday so the weekend was wonderful. Kind of a letdown coming back to work today (hee hee). I have much to be thankful for this year. Little Bear is growing like a weed, and is 15 months going on three years – ha ha ha! He is my joy. I can hardly wait to get home to him every day. And his Poppa too (wink).
So now, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Or however you celebrate this holiday! We hang up stockings each year, and hope to get some kind of tree up for the baby. We still call him the baby. He is so curious, and very smart. Love love love him.
Today is another day in paradise, so I gotta go to work. Hope you have a wonderful Monday.

and no snow. The only weather we received was rain, icy rain and slush. Very cold as well. That is okay by me. I did not look forward to driving to work on the ice. We report two hours late today. More time to look at art and blog it!
Just a little note about me. I recently started on insulin, and it is kind of scary. Any one out there like me? I did the shots with no trouble. I just really feel spooky about putting something “inside”.

I saw my first robin this year. It was last week, a little cold, but a good sign that spring is around the corner. Love those fat red bellies.

My computer was down for a few days. Too many for me! Since then we have had 70 degree weather, snow, sleet, wind, rain and mush. The weather here is really crazy! Good day to stay inside today. We had snow off and on all day. Nothing sticking; nice to look at. It will be spring-like again in a few days.

Oklahoma weather is really wacky. 27 degrees this morning and by afternoon it is 70 degrees. And cold drizzle tomorrow with a high of only 31 degrees. Good day to stay home and snuggle in the covers with the remote control! Hope your Wednesday has been wonderful!

We report to work two hours later today due to the ice on the roads. Snow fell yesterday but the biggest storm passed further south of us. And it is cold. In the teens cold. up at 7am. cats all over me saying, it is time to get up momma! The weather is definitely autumn-like. Mild days and cool nights, and I am loving it. What is your favorite time of year? I start to think about family getting together, cooking and sharing food, catching up on family gossip and seeing how much the kids have grown. I love the smells of autumn, people burning their leaves, fireplaces burning, cinnamon and pumpkin (pies – yeah), wearing sweaters and getting out the heavy blankets. Good crocheting weather, afghans on laps. snuggling with kitty.
Makes me feel young at heart! How about some autumn art, and a little cat to make your day? Etsy, of course.
