ninety degrees and not lying! It is the starting-to-sweat-in-the-air-conditioning weather. We have a Crime Prevention day this week at work. We will be the test dummies and our body language and mannerisms will be watched (by the cadets, I think). More on that later.

Time for more cuteness. Cos a day without cuteness and art is, well, you know . . .etsy, of course.

Oklahoma weather is really wacky. 27 degrees this morning and by afternoon it is 70 degrees. And cold drizzle tomorrow with a high of only 31 degrees. Good day to stay home and snuggle in the covers with the remote control! Hope your Wednesday has been wonderful!

Be Healthy

Everyone at work is talking about diet and exercise lately, especially with the week of warm weather we just had. My goal is to move more. I eat less (just lost 2 lbs this week) and watch what I put in my mouth. I just need to get moving! That pilates chair won’t work by itself! Found this item on my box of “less salt” crackers. You can find lots of good information here.

I will want to wear my capris and tops with the other girls this summer. Maybe a few summer dresses as well! Let’s get the party started! Hope you have a fit and healthy summer!

Sunday thoughts

The December holidays are almost here, with our usual gathering at mom’s house, with lots of food and games and chatter. We have only a few little ones these days (they seem to come in twos). So I have picked some etsy sweet toys for my daily inspiration, and to think about younger days . . . Remember the sears wishbook? Four of us would take turns looking at that old book and dreaming for hours. And in the end, when the big day would arrive, most of what we had was each other. And we were very happy!

Toys, toys, toys!

winter’s a comin’

The weather is going to take a cold turn – 72 degrees today, 37 degrees tomorrow! When is the first day of winter? Not too far away. Old Man Winter will be here, trying to blow us away!

So far, today is a grey grey day outside. No complaints. I’ll get a cuppa tea, a big bagel, and some embroidery, then see what is on cable that looks interesting. Maybe a good old black and white movie! Here is some grey (gray?) for today. Which do you say? Etsy, of course.
