sewing and serging

Okay, it’s time to get out the sewing machine and serger.  I love winter clothing, and my plan is to make some new stuff to wear.  I haven’t sewn for myself in a while and I have some new patterns, fabric and the desire to get with it.  And I really do not like to pay retail prices for clothing that will last one season when I can make something that will stay together and not shrink after one washing.  So there.  I’ll keep you posted on my progress.

How about some etsy for a chilly morning?

Here’s hoping you have a wonderful weekend.  Come back soon!

Big hug,

Deborah

the power of positive thinking.  I am kinda getting just bored with myself these days.  I feel like I am at the bottom of a rollercoaster ride and do not know what is going to happen next. Just in a small funk, feeling like I am at a standstill and something is going to or needs to happen.  I pray for a job that will be fulfulling, bring home some good bacon, and one that will last….just saying.

So, how was your weekend?  I had plenty of rest, reading and cozying up with the cats.  Did a lot of soul searching about what to do next.  Just do it, I say!  Keep calm and carry on!  Onward!

Okay, how about some inspiration pictures to brighten a girl’s day?  Etsy, of course.

Maybe I could open a little girl’s dress shop.  I CAN sew.  I DO have fabric and patterns.  I NEED a new creative outlet.  Just saying.

Hope your Sunday is wonderful!

Big hug,

Deborah

It was hard to leave with just one basket from “the basket man”.  They are wonderfully woven baskets made from elephant grass in Ghana, Africa.
