This post was meant for Saturday morning. (smile)
Hello, hello, it’s off to work I go. Or is that I owe, I owe, it’s off to work I go? (Hi ho, Hi ho?) I am at long last employed! The charming lady that interviewed me called last night and pulled a fast one on me. She said I did not pass my tests and they could not offer me the job. Just kidding, she said. My stomach flip-flopped and then I laughed. She is already a little rascal! Should be fun working with her. When I met my soon to be supervisor last week, he said welcome to the circus. He must be the strong man because he almost crushed my hand with his handshake.
My spirit is soaring and I am all wound up today. My sister and I are meeting for lunch and coffee to chit-chat about life, and upcoming holiday parties. And did I mention coffee?
I feel the need to buy new shoes, and a matching purse. And a new scarf to match a new jacket, and a hat. Wow, I haven’t even started working yet. A girl must look good on her first day of work. I have a confession – I have already been shopping for new clothing and boots to wear. Sometimes too much fun is good for the soul.

Well, I did not find a hat. I found four very cute tops, one scarf, and new underwear. It was a lot of fun! For lunch I ate grilled BBQ chicken with baked sweet potato topped with brown sugar and butter. Iced tea with lemon and steak fries. Hmmm, seems I was craving two kinds of potato. It was yummy! Always love meeting my sisters.
Hope you had a very nice Saturday! Mine was windy, cold and fun. There were lots of people out shopping and eating a late lunch. The day felt like a real holiday day!
