Wrapping up the School Year

The end of the year is always fun
Here is mini-Kyle
Luke made a Muppet of himself!
Chloe made a hat out of a chicken pot pie dish. She is one of a kind.
We have a toad that likes to live in our garden and Rhett always catches him.
Lunch at Five Guys with mom and dad. His face says it all. DELICIOUS!
Happy Mother's day. I love my kids!
Kyle is 34!!! I finally got him a DP shirt. Don't know why I never thought of that before.
Chloe's Kindergarten celebration. Here she is with Kayla and her friend Erica who tells Chloe that she is a ganster! What so funny. They had a fabulous time together this year.
Mrs. Wolff! The dream kindergarten teacher. She is just absolutely the best. Our family adores her.
 Chilling after the ceremony/celebration

Chloe's last day of Kindergarten. 5 years old
Luke's last day of 2nd grade. 7 years old. Yes Rhett is pulling down his pants in the background. :)

STL Girls Trip

My mom and all my sisters (except Abby, she's on a mission in Canada) came to St. Louis for a girls trip. It was amazing! I love my family!
We had an incredible time at the City museum. We all wore out workout clothes and did everything. It was awesome to have no kids, but act like kids!

We are in the pod going up to the arch. A tight fit!
We spent a beautiful morning at the botanical gardens.

April Spectaular!

April was a busy month for us. Lots going on!
Here are the kids on our conference weekend walk. I love this tradition. Thanks mom and dad for passing in on to us.
Luke started golf and I think we have found his calling. He enjoys it more than any other sport! He can play a full 9 holes and carry his bags the whole way.

Chloe learned to tie her shoes. It took her like 2 seconds cause she is awesome.
Luke had a part in his 2nd grade play the Seussical. He has a fabulous voice and is quite the performer.
The kids behind the stage in the green room!
Thanks for the sweet classes Grandma!
Rhett got the mini towel in our hotel in Branson. We took our first non-Utah family trip and we had a blast!
We spent a day at Silver Dollar City. All but Rhett like the rides. He still gets a little nervous!

One day we spent hiking and fishing. Missouri is so green and beautiful. About 1/2 a second into our hike we came across and snake! Kyles dream come true ;)
We made it back from our trip right before Easter. We hurried and dyed some eggs.
Hunting for eggs in the backyard
Our first pet. Meet Oscar the turtle, named after my late cat. He is a baby box turtle and is the size of a quarter. So stinking cute!
 Grandmas came to visit!!!
Chloes dance recital. Last one with her dance teacher Miss Katie. We will miss her so much. The dances and costumes were always perfect and tasteful.

Luke had his first piano recital. He was the most nervous I have ever seen him. Holy cow he was dying. His fingers were moving so fast. Reminds me of Aunt Hilary! He played Indian Run and we played a duet.

St. Patty's Day Fun

We went down town this year for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It's a big deal in St. Louis with all the Irish Catholics. It took a bit of arm twisting to get Kyle to brave the crowds, but we had a tons of fun. And our red heads totally fit in. Although we were probably the only people not drinking!

Here are the kids across from the arch on the Mississippi river. I will miss living in a place with so much history.
Front row seats to the parade.
We got our green and party beads on!
Making our Leprechaun trap! Still didn't catch him this year, but he left chocolate coins.

Our sweet old neighbor Jack gave Chloe some hand me down Barbie stuff from home granddaughter. Chloe built Barbie worlds for days.
Chloe favorite thing. Reading American girl magazines and rocking out to Kyle's music.
 First season of basketball check
Playing in the hay and Purina farms

Making it through the Winter

Luke and I had a great time at his field trip to the Powell Symphony Hall. We saw Peter and the Wolf. He really enjoys music and is super fun to hang out with.
A not so cold day. We are out for a walk.
Chloe making play-dough creations. We love her imagination.
 Weather moms hairnet from work.
Kyle surprised is one day and organized a McClintock Family Olympics. He brought home candy bars for the medals. It blew my socks off. Sometimes he really surprises me.
 Hubba What!?
 Love her sweet face!
This totally shows Luke's personality. He is always excited about life and a ham!
It is a known fact that I LOVE to sleep. So I was snoozing one morning while the kids were running about and Luke and Chloe made me breakfast! It was so sweet. Buttered toast, yogurt and a tall glass of water. Just what I love!
Luke is a baller. He made one miracle basket this year. He really enjoyed playing.
Roar, by Katy Perry was the second grade talent show theme. They had so much fun. performing.
What does the FOX say? The kindergarten class rocked the stage.
Rhett loved to watch the Variety Show and cheer them on!
