Update: An information session for all interested potential applicants will take place on 30 September 2025 at 11:00 CET on WebEx. No registration is required. All questions and answers discussed during this session will be made publicly available in a Q&A document on the Funding and Tenders Portal.
Based on a proposal by the European Parliament, this call will fund two projects. It seeks to engage young Europeans aged 15–30 and influencers in developing and disseminating content that raises awareness about risks to information integrity, including different online manipulation techniques and tactics, conspiracy theories or malicious uses of generative AI such as deepfakes. The objective is to help young Europeans to better recognise and counter manipulative content or techniques, as well as fostering new collaborations between information integrity professionals and influencers, so that they can join forces related to information integrity challenges and reach new audiences.
The projects should develop a participatory process to ensure that they reflect the diverse perspectives and media habits of young Europeans. To have impact and reach, the call aims to foster cross-sector collaboration, in particular involving players from media, content creation, arts, technology, civil society and media literacy.
Open for application from 30 September 2025 to 2 December 2025, this call for proposals foresees a maximum EU funding contribution of EUR 6 million for two projects of up to two years. It is open to a wide range of applicants, including content creators and producers, media organisations, technology companies, civil society organisations, and social media platforms.
By supporting greater awareness about information integrity risks among young Europeans, the project should ultimately contribute to a more resilient European digital sphere.
