Popcorn night is always a favorite for everyone, not just the kids.
We had a treasure hunt (and scavenger hunt another day). It was fun watching the kids trail around the property looking for clues.
Side walk chalk.
Braided cousins.
Gray and Carter watching a movie in the living room.
Dance party on the deck. This happened more than once.
We got smart this year and had an Unbirthday Party! Instead of worrying about all the cousins birthdays throughout the year (by means of sending gifts) we decided to have one big birthday party. All the kids had drawn names before the trip and brought a gift. We decorated cupcakes and opened presents and it was a hit.
We enjoyed a morning at the park playing baseball, volleyball, soccer, racing, and playing.
"Swimming" on the deck. We did make it to SHARC at least once, but I don't think I have any pictures to prove it.
Meal time was hilarious. There were so many little bodies.
Our perfect bike loop...
FHE.
Bike riding to the lodge to get a coke is always a favorite. The airport loop and small loop were perfect, flat bike rides for the kids.
We "hiked" to Benham Falls. It's more like a long dusty walk, but fun nonetheless. Hanging out at the Village. Another good coke spot. :)
Bike riding is just my favorite. And we managed to have enough bikes, tag-alongs, infant seats and trailers so that EVERYONE can go biking at the same time. That's 26 people caravaning on bikes... people loved us. :) Taytum and Reece got the giggles so hard while riding together. Uncle Farkus would swerve back and forth so that they would knock helmets together which would send them into fits of giggles. It was too funny to listen to.
There may have been a few times that the kids disappeared into the guest house and played on their tablets, rather quietly I might add.
And Sunriver would not be Sunriver without our girls "Favorite Things" lunch.
Followed by pedicures of course.
And between all of that was plenty of chatting, game playing, eating, playing pool, and laughing. I absolutely love spending time with my family. If only jobs and life and responsibilities didn't get in the way so that we could just live in our own little compound in Sunriver together forever.
