Bobo's 4th Birthday

Bentley turned the big 4! This little Beedo makes us smile. She is such a sass and is slightly stubborn. She remains our "lap dog," meaning she loves to crawl up into our lap and snuggle. She has taken a new found love of Mom and will ask, "Which one are you getting, Mom?" "Which one do you like, Mom?" Except when it comes to clothes, and then she will pick whatever Mom does not want her to wear or offer. She still loves her sleep. And while, she does not go to nap as willingly as she once did, she does go to sleep quickly and will often yawn and say, "I'm tired, are you Mom?" She is still as tiny as ever weighing in at 29.5 lbs (6%) and 40 inches tall (60%). She eats a lot at breakfast, not as much at lunch, and then hardly anything at dinner. The other day she asked for seconds and I was shocked, to which she responded, "I need to eat more so I don't blow away!" One of her very favorite foods is Cheetos. She also loves cheese, strawberries, mac and cheese, and "circle sandwiches" (homemade PB&J uncrustables). Bentley's hair is literally yellow. I have never seen somebody with actual yellow hair, but her hair is! She has really fine, wispy hair that resembles Einstein's when she wakes up. This girl is quick as a whip, smart as can be, and we just really like her.
For her birthday we had her two little best (only) friends over; Claire, and Bexley. We had a few little crafts for them to do at home, and then we headed to McDonald's for happy meals, presents, and ice cream. It was the perfect little party!
That night we had a little family get together.
 And her well child visit...

Kinder Ice Skating

I was able to attend the Kindergartner's ice skating field trip. It was Taytum's first time ever ice skating! I was a little worried, but this girl took to ice like a fish to water. She was all over that ice skating rink and didn't want to stop. I bought hot chocolates for us at one point and she would just skate to the side, take a sip, and then had back out onto the rink.

January...

We had some unusually warm weather in January and took advantage of it every chance we got by having playdates outside, playing at the park, and picnicking.

Post basketball game lunch using gift cards from Grandma and Grandpa Great Jensen:
 All the sleeping beauties:
The magic of Legos:
Jefferson and his assistant coach at one of Carter's basketball games:
We had five different cases of strep throat between the girls in January. For about two weeks I boiled toothbrushes daily, sanitized every handle and railing, and washed sheets more times than I can count. Andi ended up having an allergic reaction to her antibiotic about 2/3 of the way through her course. They were head to toe! Poor, itchy girl!
I helped head up the free movie night put on by the PTO. It was a huge success:

Will & Ali & Nixon came to visit! We watched a ton of funny videos, went out on a date to Wubba's and just enjoyed relaxing. We love it when they come!

Sassy pants Bentley:
Andi at her friend, Isa's, birthday party:
A big group of moms all took our kids to see Paddington. We were pleasantly surprised at how cute it was!
