Friend of the blog Jim “X-Acto” Bates recently told me about this story. I’d like to know more, including whether it was a MiG-21 or MiG-23. The story says both. Anyone know?

India and Pakistan are shooting at each other. At least one Indian MiG-21 appears to have been downed. Pakistani JL-17s may have been involved. When two countries with nukes start shooting at each other, we should all get worried.
