Sunt sigură că vă amintiți de volumul meu turcoaz de poezii publicat pe Amazon, despre care am povestit puțin prin februarie-martie anul acesta. Sărbătoream în acel moment cei 10 anișori de blogging ai mei, însă atunci v-am putut arăta doar coperta. 🙂

Ei bine… bucurie mare, când în sfârșit am primit și cărticica! A durat puțin până să ajungă la mine în format fizic, fiind în sistem tipărire la cerere. Oarecum subțirel, se simte, dar parcă strălucește! 😀 Iar textura materialului de copertă este cumva… plăcut catifelat?! 😳

Fiind creat pe o platformă de self-publishing, pe Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, este un volum meșteșugit complet de mine, așa cum m-am ghidat pas cu pas pe tutoriale și ghiduri oferite la discreție. A implicat ceva muncă de detaliu, dar a răzbit până la urmă… cum să nu, doar e  o mică sclipire turcoaz. 😊

Volumul, conținând primele mele poezii în limba engleză din perioada 2016-2017, 42 la număr, a fost îndelung adus din condei, cu drag și mai ales cu multă răbdare în procesul de editare și paginare, deoarece am ținut neapărat ca, pe lângă poeziile alese, să fie incluse atât citatele cât și imaginile care le însoțesc pe blog, în postările originale. Mă bucură mult mai ales faptul că fotografiile care însoțesc poeziile, editate de mine puțin spre Vintage, au ieșit extraordinar de frumos la tipărire, de o calitate neașteptată!! 😲

Dar dincolo de orice detalii tehnice, este extraordinar sentimentul… de a-ți vedea micile jucării de poezii jucăușo-visătoare și marile fotografii dansatoare căpătând viață colorat, așa… ca prin minune!

I am sure you remember my turquoise poetry volume published on Amazon, which I posted a bit about earlier this year. I was celebrating turning 10 WordPress years at that moment, but I could only share the book cover with you then. 🙂

Well… such joy now, that I finally got the book itself! It took a while for it to get to me in paperback format, as it is all in a Print on Demand system. Quite light and thin, it feels, but it somehow has a lovely shine to it! And the texture of the cover feels a tad… like velvet?! 😳

Having been created on a self-publishing platform, on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, it is a volume entirely crafted by me… myself and I, as I found exact steps and guidance in tutorials and guides that are put at everyone’s disposal. It did suppose a thorough type of work and involvement, but it broke the surface eventually… as a turquoise spark usually does. 😊

This volume, containing my very first poems translated into English back in the day, 2016-2017, 42 of them, meant having to focus quite hard on the many details, and so very patiently on the editing process, as I wished by all means to add to every poem that I had selected, both the motto and the photo that accompany the original post on my old blog. So it makes me all the more happy now that all the images, edited by me to have a slightly Vintage air, turned out perfectly beautiful in the printed book, unexpected high quality!! 😲

Still, beyond any technical details I might share, the feeling is simply wonderful… to see my very own playfully-dreamy verse and some of my many dancing photos coming to life so nice and colorfully… as if by magic!
