Righting the Congress

©2011 drkate

Both houses of the United States Congress have become a cesspool of corruption, crony capitalism, and a life-long political class that has nothing to do with the Constitution or with protecting America. Members of Congress enjoy jacking off in their private saunas and steam baths which only they would call ‘hallowed space‘; voting themselves pay raises; keeping their salary and benefits for life, and otherwise destroying America to benefit only themselves.  Where else can you go from negative net worth to multi-million dollars of net worth in a year? You can count the principled members of Congress on the fingers of one hand.

And where else could the tacit approval for the Obama usurpation of the presidency be enabled, and still planned?  Throw in the corrupt Supreme Court and judiciary, unaccountable agency heads, and billions of dollars and bribes from the banks and corrupt foreign nationals like George Soros, and the stench of the cesspool becomes overwhelming.

We don’t need an amendment to the Constitution to balance the budget, we need to hold Congress to its 18 enumerated powers and their oath of office.  Cross the line and they should be forever barred from running for any office again.  Tell me where in this world does a person receive their full salary and benefits for life, after serving only one term in what should be the hallowed occupation of a citizen legislator? By our own hands and lack of attention, we have created the most corrupt group of people in the world.  I point a finger at Congress and three fingers point back at me.

We don’t need an Article V Constitutional Convention because its not the framework of the Constitution that is broken, it is the people who inhabit its positions. And they will always have to be reminded that it is not the people who are in rebellion, it is the government that is in rebellion against the people and the Constitution.

It is also true that we cannot rely on Congress to reform itself.  Why should they?  Most of them have never had a real job in their lives so they know nothing about ‘reform’ except ‘reforming’ their responsibilities so they benefit.

Here are a few ideas to literally remake those who serve the people:

  1. Pass a law at the state and federal level–if need be an amendment–that any time the deficit exceeds 3% of gross domestic product, all members of Congress are ineligible for re-election.
  2. Forbid Congress to raise its own salary and mandate pay raises be the lower of the CPI or 3% per term of office (2 or 6 years).
  3. Reduce the Congressional work period to nine months, with appropriate salary reductions, and limit any deal making or legislating to the hours of 7 am to 5 pm, the normal working period of Americans.  No voting on anything between the hours of 5 pm and 7 am.
  4. Require Congress to spend the three remaining months of each year in their districts performing community service, meeting with state legislatures, and learning from constituents–without pay or paid at minimum wage.
  5. Half the Congressional staff.
  6. Enact term limits at every level, including staff
  7. Reduce Congressional office budgets and forbid free postage, travel, and first class upgrades for all members of Congress and their staff.
  8. Require members of Congress to justify each and every vote  and their compliance with the eighteen enumerated powers.
  9. Forbid life-long appointments in the entire judiciary, substituting instead a term of ten years with required evaluations for any reinstatement.
  10. Reinstate the original 13th amendment and forbid lawyers or those with other titles of nobility to serve as members of Congress.

There are plenty of other ideas…please use this thread to propose them.

It’s the Money, Patriots!

One major way we have uncovered corruption is to ‘follow the money’ and to discover the networks of those connections…one such analysis was done on how Obama won the 2008 election using his stolen and illegally secured  campaign ‘donations’, paper dollars.

But we’re following the ‘fiat money‘, some other creature invented by the banking cartel and slyly called The Federal Reserve.  These are the cartels who have indebted you and your grandchildren with trillions in phony debt, and who, in the end, have been responsible for the deaths of millions of people in war and terror.  They created a fake system and then bought the Executive, Congress, education, hollywood, the judiciary, the military-industrial complex, and the media. Those fiat money trails expose them all, all over the world.

The real money that we should be pursuing is constitutional money, sound money that is actually back by metals, gold. The candidates that we should be supporting are those that understand this basic fact about our monetary system and the Constitution.  Ron Paul, of course, would know how to start this.

Remember the lessons of history in this struggle for our country–the cartel has always wanted control over America and  fought against liberty.

It should be a pretty clear choice (h/t Tenacity).

The 2012 election is about the Constitution, and beginning to turn back, in 2013, the crime of 100 years ago–the Federal Reserve.

The Obama Unraveling

It appears that the more ‘deadpan’ Obama is about a subject, like ACORN, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and communism, the more he is actually involved.  This is a useful tool as we realize he has been mum about the czars, the true intent of his foreign travels, and so many other facets of his ‘administration’ of government.  He seems to be blowing smoke, but there is fire behind it.

Shining a light on any of these areas begins to unravel the Obama machine, as it was a contingency they had not planned on: the American people waking up.  If the public disgust to the Obama-democratic health insurance plan scam is “Obama’s waterloo”, then the reaction to the bilking of taxpayers through ACORN will make the wheels fall off his Cloward-Piven wagon.

I found this piercing article about the Cloward-Piven strategy, the role of ACORN, and the connection to Obama over at American Daughter Media Center.  Author Jim Simpson proposes an amazing chart which begins to show the net that holds the Obama machine together:

Lectures from the 1960s: The Illuminati and the Council on Foreign Relations

Finished the “Mystery of Banking” book yet?  Ok, my bad.

This post, which will be up for a couple of days, presents a series of fascinating lectures by Myron Fagan  on the control of the banking system, world wars, and the attempt to push the United States into a global ‘new world order’.

While not new information to readers here, this does provide some fascinating history and connections I was unaware of, and some ‘tentative’ connections or threads that now seem actually quite conclusive.  Try your hand at diagramming the people and links in these lectures and see what comes out.

“The Mystery of Banking”

I am on the road for the next week and will be reporting on the events surrounding 912 with fairly short posts.

But soon I want to tackle the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and the 16th Amendment to the Constitution, both of which seem to be at the center of the economic portion of the our current Constitutional crisis and economic distress.  In order to understand the significance of both of these topics, it is necessary to understand something  about money.

In the series of articles I have produced on the Constitution, this is the one topic that I have not covered, yet it is key to understanding what must be done to undo the damage done to our Constitutional Republic and the citizenry by the Act and the 16th Amendment.  In fact, a proposed 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution would abolish the Federal Reserve and repeal the 16th Amendment.

In this post, I offer the on-line version of the book, The Mystery of Banking, and I encourage all of you to download it for your edification.  Eventually, I will make this book a whole ‘page’ in this blog, in the form of this link,  along with other key references..
