Brian Lost a Tooth

Brian finally lost his first tooth! He has been dying to loose a tooth since everyone else in his class starting losing teeth last year!! My kids don't loose teeth until they are seven.....at least the first 2 have been that way! He was one excited kid!!

First Day of School ~ 2013

We were all excited about another new school year! Hailey is in 4th grade this year! She was most excited about having a locker and getting switch classes this year!
Brian is in 2nd grade this year! If you ask him what his favorite things at school are he will tell you P.E. and recess...........such a boy answer :)
These were the highlight of school shopping this year! Apparently these are the coolest shoes to have............I must have missed the memo :)
They are all so cute and growing up so fast......this time next year I will have all of them in school.......that completely blows my mind. I never believed it would actually come and now that it is in sight I am a little sad.......a LITTLE  :) :) :)

My Summer Projects

Dusty and I were getting new bedroom furniture that is black and I had some pieces of furniture that I wanted to match, so I taught myself how to refinish furniture! This mirror was just oak and this is how it turned out! I also redid my hope chest and there is a before and after picture down there!

Hailey had this chair in her room at her desk and it didn't match any of her furniture either so we decided to glam it out! It turned out pretty cute!! It now matches her walls and is covered in sparkles....every girls dream :)

~Summer Adventures~

We had lots of fun this summer! With our new camper in the mountains we spent a lot more time in the mountains! We really enjoyed being up there this year. We loved hanging out, throwing rocks in the pond, riding the 4-wheelers!

We even got in some fishing at Groundhog! I just couldn't resist putting so many pictures of Raegan fishing! She is so cute, cast and all!

We also got to help Corey move his cows out of Cottonwood! The kids thought this was real fun! We hadn't moved cows since Brian was not quite 1 year old and we helped Papa Darrell move his cows just before he died. As you scroll down you will see how Brian and Raegan ended the cattle drive :) Check out the dirt on Brian's face, it almost looks like he has a mustache :)
We have a trail cam that we would set up each time we went home and the kids(Hailey, Brian, Raegan, and DUSTY) would be so excited to check it as soon as we would come back! It was always fun to see what we had caught on camera!
We, of course, spent as much time playing in the water as we could! Sprinklers, pools, slip-n-slide, water guns, and of course the pond!
We went to the rodeo, with these cuties! The kids really liked watching all the events, always a fun summer tradition!

Then the next day Raegan broke her arm :(    She fell off the ladder leading up to the fort. She was pretty tough!

She quickly recovered and was ready to ride every ride at the carnival!! All the kids had a good time at the carnival this year! Hailey spent her time there starting to ride some of the big kid rides this year!
Raegan's broken arm didn't slow her down much this summer! She even learned how to ride her bike with no training wheels with her cast on!! She was a real quick learner, it took like 5 minutes and she had it! She is so determined to keep up with Hailey and Brian that she will do just about anything :)

Aren't these the cutest carts you have ever seen??? They have them at Slaven's here in town! The girls pushing them are pretty dang cute too! They thought the carts were so cool, I think they wanted to take them home!
The kids hunted toads at Aunt Amanda's house! The toads like to hide in Emilynn's sand box! You should have heard all the kids screaming like little girls when the toads would jump!
Dusty built a picnic table under the fort for the kids! They absolutely love it! I absolutely love this picture Dusty took of the kids.....one of my all time favorites :)
4th of July was spent at my parents house this year! I tried to teach Emilynn how to slip-n-slide. I think I was sore for a week afterward, but we sure had fun!
Poor Amanda was still on bed rest waiting for Marissa to come....it was not a super fun time for her :)
The kids did sparklers for quite a while.....papa was on lighter duty!! He loved every minute of it!
We were all super excited to get Raegan's cast off. It was getting pretty dirty and stinky :(

Then we got to welcome a sweet little new cousin into the world! Little Marissa came on July 12. She is sure a sweetie, being an aunt is great fun!!
