Atlas Peacekeeping Solutions is one of the big security and armaments megacorps for the Black Polished Chrome setting. They specialize in “peacekeeping” in name only, and specialize in hardware designed for riot suppression, crowd control, and anti-insurgency. This covers everything from body armour and personal firearms to armoured vehicles and support hardware. The majority of their hardware is plated in a pale blue ceramic covering designed initially to harken back to the UN Peacekeepers of old but which has gotten paler and paler over the years through various marketing realignments and product updates.

In the city, they are best known for deploying riot-control teams on contract for multiple other corporate interests who don’t maintain their own standing military forces, and for their autonomous ‘policing’ units which are the focus here.

These are the first-generation production of Atlas Cyberdogs. These were never manufactured in great numbers The Mk1 still has significant components that are unprotected by the layered ceramic and steel armour as well as a few key weak points – primarily the cables between the head and torso as well as all the open machinery and linkages.

This was the second generation of the Atlas autonomous security units. The first generation was only used within Atlas buildings, campuses, and enclaves, where they assisted human security forces.

The second generation went into a much larger production run and was often seen working with Atlas “peacekeepers” during riot control operations and when operating in potentially hostile urban environments.

Mk2 units are still seen in the field, but usually with security forces that purchase hardware from Atlas. Atlas Peackeeping Solutions has replaced the Mk2 unit with the Mk3 in the field.
