Likely to launch by March, HENG Roastery is Seri Kembangan’s forthcoming coffee roastery and brew bar, founded by Heng and Bryan for sipping with slow intention.

Stepping out into their own space, the two men seek to personalise their roasts, recently experimenting with filters like an easygoing Ethiopian for everyday enjoyment and a Panama Geisha with toasty-earthy complexities and a tangy finish of guava and green apples.

This is a thoughtful setting crafted by About Designs Studio, leaning on symmetry in lines and light, with brushed steel softened by sculpted timber and smooth curves.

A Spiritello manual lever espresso machine sets a sleek tone, with subtle homages to Heng’s name embedded in unexpected corners here, a hopeful reminder to persevere in search of what endures.
