The first call under the Public Sector Loan Facility (PSLF), the third pillar of the Just Transition Mechanism, closed at the end of 2025. Its results are now available, with projects supporting regions most affected by the transition to climate neutrality.
Advancing the Just Transition in Europe: Results of the first PSLF call for proposals

A total of 19 projects have signed grant agreements amounting to €210 million which, together with €1.3 billion from EIB loans, mobilised over €830 million in other resources.
At the end of 2025, a further 19 projects have been selected for funding, requesting €252 million in EU grants.
