Saving is a virtue, but having enough money to make ends meet while also managing to save something will only be something that you dream about if you don't have a good way of managing your money.

Cut your spending and figure out where your money is going thanks to Economix, a small Mac application that allows you to manage your family budget.

It is very easy to use: the user has to enter every account movement by hand, except for the payments that occur periodically (monthly or annual operations).

You select the type of transaction and the category that each movement belongs to and let Economix calculate your bank balance. The application also has a small statistics system that shows a graph of all of the operations that you've made in a specific time period.

You can add sounds to the program from the options menu, making it more fun to use.
