Description
Given the continued prominence of inflation in the economic policy debate, this edition features two analytical chapters revolving around inflation. The first chapter analyses the persistence of services inflation. The second chapter discusses the channels through which inflation and the related policy response affect inequality. Finally, the third chapter analyses capital taxation in the euro area with a special focus on capital gains taxation and corporate income tax.
