Journal of Geosurface (JoG) is a scientific journal in the Geoscience using Spatial Data by Geomatic Engineering Study Program, Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang. The journal focuses on geospatial science and technology, which includes geodesy, geomatics, geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, photogrammetry, cartography, spatial analysis, and managing geospatial data in urban, rural, coastal, and regional areas in Indonesia and throughout the world. It publishes original research articles addressing theoretical development, methodological innovation, and applied geospatial approaches for environmental management, spatial planning, natural resource assessment, disaster monitoring and mitigation, hazard, risk, and vulnerability analysis, and sustainable development, including advances in geospatial technologies and innovations such as big geospatial data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, UAVs, cloud-based GIS, and web mapping. The journal encourages multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners to enhance scientific understanding and practical solutions in the geospatial domain, with publications occurring biannually in June and December.
