Twi'lek Fullbody

Hey, I freely admit that I’m a huge dork and I like playing dress up. For me, that’s part of the fun of Second Life; I can be whatever I want, whenever I want to. Today that means I’m a Twi’lek, a fantasy creature from the Star Wars saga, thanks to Skindustrial Bodyworks Twi’ek avatar and matching Lekku. I stumbled across this fantastical avatar while wandering the Marketplace and it captivated me so much I had to try it out. For one thing, the skin is beautiful… blue, sans eyebrows, and all. It’s not often that I see a fantasy skin so smoothly made and this came with Lola’s Tango appliers, making it another plus in my book. The full avatar includes the skin and jewelry you see here, as well as silks with Tango’s appliers, and a set of Lekku; however I purchased their separate set of mesh Lekku for more versatility.  Continue reading

Of Silks and Showtimes

Mirage Silks

I’m featuring these fantastic silks by Mirage by KRC for two reasons, one they are going to be included in Charltina’s Asian Fashion show later this month, and two they are also being used as a costume for the current dance show I’m in. It’s fun for me to see the overlap between the dance community and the fashion community. With these silks it’s no surprise… everything you see here except for my hair, makeup, and body attachments came with the outfit.  Continue reading
