Satan has been planning his end times assault on the Church of Jesus Christ for quite some time.
Think about that: from practically the beginnings of the Church, Satan has been planning his counter-attack. This attack will culminate in the events detailed in both the Book of Revelation and Matthew 24 (among other places in the Bible).
Part of the enemy’s game plan is to corrupt the Word of God; to bend it and twist it to his purposes; to further the devil’s ends, not the purposes of God.

At first, the public is shocked, then outraged.
But, the VERY FACT that such a thing could be publicly debated becomes the SUBJECT of the debate.
In the debate, sheer repetition of the shocking subject gradually dulls its effect.
People then are no longer shocked.
No longer outraged, people begin to argue for positions to moderate the extreme; or, they accept the premise, challenging, instead, the means to ACHIEVE it.
When you think about it, every perversity of the last 60 years has followed this model to achieve widespread public acceptance in the USA (homosexual ‘marriage, abortion on demand, the welfare state, drug legalization, the state raising children instead of parents, many of the doctrines now being taught in churches, eliminating the name of Jesus in public, etc).
There will never be a lack of those who want to be on the “cutting edge of societal change.” These people are the ones who implement step #1. The tightly-controlled Corporate Media (including the ‘Christian’ mass media) accomplish #3 and #4. The compromising, go-along-to-get-along American public–and particularly the compromising Church–eventually shrug their shoulders and complete the process.
So, when one reads of an outrageous proposal in the Corporate Media, relax: it might only be step one of the Six-Step Attitudinal Change plan. The following example was cited in End Times Prophecy Headlines: June 4, 2013.

NOTE: Something to keep in mind: when Ukraine falls, this will isolate the three Baltic republics (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia), all three of which belong to NATO–unlike Ukraine. This will raise the stakes over the fate of these small nations–which were previously part of the Soviet Union–and ratchet up the World War III pressure to a much, much higher degree than the world currently sees over the troubles in Ukraine. All of which seems to be according to plan.
Fox News star calls for Obama impeachment – Big deal. The media breathlessly treats non-events such as this as if they actually meant something. The only people to which this means anything are those who are hopelessly enslaved to that tube coming out of their TVs running into their heads. Every day, around the clock, someone is calling for someone else to stop or start doing something.

That’s also the question that all “haunted house” stories have to answer. According to the Bible, demons HATE being outside of a human body.

So, the next question to ask is: if demons aren’t hanging around a house for decades, “haunting” and waiting for a human body to happen by, then where do these “hauntings” originate? If the demons are not hanging out at the house waiting for someone to show up, how do they get to the house?
One answer is another question: How many Bible-believing born-again Christians have been the object of hauntings?
It has long been established that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Seeing as this was a proven truth time and again, some have taken it upon themselves to make a career out of squeaking. Even when those applying the grease are busy doing something else, the squeaking gets progressively louder until they inevitably stop what they are doing, and do what the squeakers know they will do given enough squeaking.

What do You do after You have Compromised? – Good article about compromise and “backsliding.” Backsliding is decidedly an Old Testament term and brings up the question, “Can someone backslide under the New Covenant?”
Here are two more question: If backsliding is a term used under the Old Covenant, is there a similar term under the New? Are “apostasy” and “backsliding” the same thing? As someone this writer knows puts it: Food for thought.
Jesus Paul and Midrash – A good piece, even if the author does quote Thomas Cahill’s Gifts of the Jews. Cahill’s book was though to be a wonderful book–until this writer became a Christian. Then, a re-reading quickly established that the book was just another Trojan Horse bearing unwelcome gifts underneath its shiny wrapping. It was a surprise to see Larry DeBruyn use it as a reference.

PRAYER CIRCLES – Praying in a circle, holding hands: where does the practice come from? Why can’t one find it in the Bible? Where did prayer circles originate and how and when did they enter the Christian Church? A 15-year-old study by Ed Tarkowski answers many questions–and predicts where the practice may be heading.
CHRISTIANS PRAYING IN A CIRCLE: WHERE DID IT ORIGINATE?
1999, Ed Tarkowski published a four-part study on prayer circles, a practice that was, at the time, just gaining popularity in some Christian churches. While the study is full of useful information on the origins of such rituals, it’s extremely interesting to read the study 15 years later.
Prayer circles have a long history of use among pagans, witches, and other occult practitioners. But the use of the prayer circle in Christianity, like so many other modern rituals, practices and doctrines, can be traced to the American apostate church.
In 1999, Tarkowski noticed the increased use of prayer circles by Christians, but he also noticed that Christians were late-comers to the prayer circle game. Others had used these circles for decades–sometimes centuries.
If you doubt that prayer circles are so widespread, or such a powerful tool, read the list below of just a few of the examples of prayer circles that I found on the World Wide Web. Besides these sites, there are numerous New Age and Christian Chat Sessions (used by Internet users to discuss various topics) that include prayer circles or discussions sbout them. As you will see, the circles are prevalent in the apostate church, the New Age, and even in the secular world. The whole world is being prepared to welcome the arrival of the Beast of Revelation 13, and to follow after him.
One of the most interesting of Tarkowsi’s findings concerned the mention of joining hand-in-hand in the Bible its connection with those who intend evil.
I did some searching in Strong’s Concordance, and found nothing regarding circles, except for one reference to God as the one “that sitteth upon the circle of the earth” (Isaiah 40:22.) Next, I looked up what it said about “joining hands” in prayer, but that didn’t help either. Then I searched through the KJV and Strong’s for various combinations of the words “join” and “hand”, and “hold” and “hand.” What resulted from that search turned out to be very enlightening. I found only two Scriptures regarding “joining hands,” but they were not associated with prayer. They were:
Proverbs 11:21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
Proverbs 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Before the pagan witchcraft of Mark Batterson’s The Circle Maker, there were prayer circles. In fact, one might say that without the preparation of prayers circles, The Circle Maker would not have been possible.
