NEPHILIM, GIANTS and FALLEN ANGELS: teaching science fiction for the Bible. Such unbiblical accounts of Genesis attack the very foundation of Christianity. However, these fantastic accounts of UFOs, nephilim, robot rebellions, ETs, giants, half-human hybrids, transhumanism and fallen angels have proved popular because they are so entertaining. Science Fiction Eschatology: substituting the doctrines of demons for the Word of God.

WHEN SCRIPTURE ALONE IS NO LONGER ENOUGH

It’s good to remind the saints from time-to-time about the threat of science fiction eschatology.

Some dismiss the fantasies woven by such men as Tom Horn, Cris Putnam, Chuck Missler, LA Marzulli, Doug Hamp and others of the Modern American Prophecy Industry as being so absurd that they are not worthy of comment. But this writer disagrees.

These New Prophets of the Science Fiction Church sell a lot of DVDs and books: somebody is buying this stuff. And this writer has talked to numerous Christians who are not really looking for a return of Jesus; they are looking for an invasion of nephilim, animal/alien/whatever-human hybrids, fallen angels, UFOs, ETs, aliens, robot uprisings or computer takeovers.

In short, they have dropped their Bibles and have picked up the wildly speculative, unbiblical narratives peddled by the nephilim-pushers.

The Science Fiction gnosicism of Tom Horn, Chuck Missler, Cris Putnam, Doug Hamp, LA Marzulli and others mixes occultism, Kabbalah, pagan mythologies and Catholic mysticism; then elevates this steaming mess of apostasy to the same level as Scripture.

The danger of these unbiblical teachings is that they directly attack the Genesis account and lay an antichrist foundation for what’s to soon come upon the earth. This group of men, operating as they do from within, do much more harm to sound Bible teaching than two hundred atheists.

These false teachers also engage in a circle of furiously scratching each others’ back as they constantly quote each other in an attempt to validate each others’ speculations.

By fabricating an alternate eschatology contrary to the Bible, these teachers not only deceive, they prepare the way for further mass deception in the future.

This is easily enough discerned as a glance at their materials reveal a lot of occult graphics while providing little discussion of such Christian basics as sin or salvation. Outside of using it as a frame to hang their lurid tales of nephilim, alien lifeforms and artificial intelligence, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ also gets short shrift.

Again, these false teachings are laying the groundwork for the appearance of the end times apostate whore Church. When the whore starts cleansing the earth of “evil” (that’s Bible-believing Christians), it’s suspected that this noxious, gnostic stew of extra-Biblical teachings will help justify the actions of the whore Church in the minds of their lukewarm pew-sitters.

Of course, believers were warned of the appearance of Horn et al.

“Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. “

SWEET GIG

While these writers wreck havoc upon God’s Word, in their defense it’s fair to say that they are entertaining. They could be churning out TV and movie scripts (some are!) about these fantasies, but they’ve chosen to aim their speculations at the lucrative post-Christian DVD market.

And they don’t like their cozy merchandising deal with the world threatened. Whenever questions about their speculative doctrine arises, the Nephilim-pushers are usually quick to respond.

It’s not that they actually respond to their misuse of God’s Word. Mostly they respond to the fact that someone is questioning their fairy tales.

This group of inventive, worldly wordsmiths have also been identified as the “Postmodern Prophecy Paradigm.” Since “paradigm” is such a popular term with the New Age, this identification hasn’t found much favor with this writer.

Science Fiction Eschatology: A suitable venue for much of the Science Fiction Eschatology crew’s speculations.

The storylines peddled by the New Prophets of Science Fiction Eschatology are related to the Bible in only the most tangential of ways. They teach an entirely new eschatology: One that is man-centered. The Bible warned of such false prophets in the last days.

And so now, the last days are the times in which we live.

Take heed.

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

NOTE: While pointing out the complete falsity of such teachings, it should also be noted that this does not mean that some of the deceptions of Science Fiction Eschatology won’t actually appear. They are deceptions: the enemy deals in deceptions. These writings are being peddled for a purpose. Believers are warned repeatedly of end times deceptions that will be employed by the enemy.

…the account given by the nephilim-pushers is MUCH different than that of the Bible. They go way beyond what is written.

This is easily discerned by using their own popular proof text of Genesis 6:4.

“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

Now, were there giants in those days before or after the sons of God (whoever they may be) came in unto the daughters of men? The Bible tells us that the giants came before such an event–and also afterwards. So, they clearly were not the offspring of fallen angels. It was not a cause-and-effect happening as the Sci-Fi Guys present.

The Bible also tells us that these giants were MEN, not the product of some unholy union between fallen angels and human women.

And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father’s house free in Israel.
–1 Samuel 17:25, referring to Goliath

And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.

These are only two of the verses which refer to the giants as “men.”

So these giants were men. And while the Hebrew word used for “man” has a variety of shades of meaning, they all refer to a male; masculine human.

UPDATE #2 – 5-4-2014

Where might all of this extra-biblical doctrine be headed? From The Rise of Charismatic Dominionism (quoted in “The Serpent Seed and the Nephilim“)

Al Dager, in his key book VENGEANCE IS OURS: THE CHURCH IN DOMINION (1990) chronicled the early history of the various Dominionist streams. He examined the phenomenon of “Charismatic Dominionism” which began in the Latter Rain movement during the 1940s. (Dager, p. 49) Key leaders included Franklin Hall, who taught that “fasting” could be “a means of bringing about revival and the ‘restoration’ of the Church” in the endtime days. Hall, who went off the deep end into UFO-ology and demon gods, astrology and mythology, taught that men could become “immortal while in their present flesh-and-blood bodies.” (Dager, p. 51, 53)

William Branham, a pentecostal preacher who heard “the Voice” and went into trances, (Dager, p. 57) was influenced by Hall’s strange teachings. Branham came up with a doctrine that the Church was going through evolutionary “progressive stages of sanctification,” based on his synthesis of “the Zodiak, [sic] the Egyptian pyramids, and the written Scriptures.”(Dager, p. 55) Branham concocted an extremely controversial “Serpent Seed” teaching, which is “based on a twisted interpretation of Genesis 3:13” that Eve was sexually seduced by the serpent and produced a genetically mutant offspring. (Dager, p. 56)[18] [bold added]

In a coming one world scenario, when Christians are hunted and killed, might the “identification” of such “serpent seed” by the whore Church be used as an excuse to “cleanse (kill) the earth of such evil?

Pagan Gods and Pagan Concepts invade the American Christian Church

Attack led by “Christian prophecy” teachers

A well-researched and compelling article can be found at Herescope titled, The Resurrection of Pagan Gods. The article, subtitled the Mingling of Mythology with God’s Truth, details what has taken place in the writings and teachings of the Modern American Prophecy Industry‘s Science Fiction Church.

It is the latest in a series on the Rise of End Times Occultism and the Postmodern Prophecy Paradigm (PPP).

Tom Horn, Gary Stearman and Chuck Missler are currently the leading vendors of this ooze of hybrid paganism overlaid with a veneer of Christian prophecy. Its target audience appears to be Christians, gnostics and UFO enthusiasts.

The result is a steaming mixture of New Age, pagan occultism masquerading as Christian eschatology–which Americans seem to lap up.

This extra-biblical eschatology is profitable and so a steady stream of books, DVDs and other media pour forth from those who blend God’s Word with Greek and Roman mythology, New Age, paganism and Jewish witchcraft.

How comforting that the Bible predicted these merchants in the end times.

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
—2 Peter 2:1-3

The authors, Gaylene Goodroad and Sarah Leslie, do a tremendous job of providing the details of this invasion of extra-biblical teachings into the American Christian Churches. Some highlights and thoughts follow.

In Horn’s 2009 book, Apollyon Rising 2012, he predicted the pagan god Apollo would materialize on earth in 2012. When that didn’t happen, Horn took that book, added a few additions and republished it as Zenith 2016. Again, its target audience appears to be Christians, gnostics and UFO enthusiasts.

Or any who have only a passing acquaintance with what the Bible states about the end times.

It never ceases to amaze how some Christians discard the authority of the Bible whenever these teachers begin a sentence with “Experts agree…” or some other appeal to the authority of man. Raising mythology and NWO schemes–of which, admitting there are many–to the level of God’s Word is a specialty of these teachers.

This is just one of the many perversions invading the church from every point on the spectrum of so-called Christian media: books, DVDs, music,TV, films, CDs.

Christian mass media has paved the way for this last days deception. It’s little wonder that Christians do not recognize this incorporation of pagan gods into their religion: besides the offerings of Horn, et.al., American pew-sitters have been well-prepared by popular Christian music whose lyrics often compare God to nonexistent little “g” gods.

In fact, these nonexistent pagan gods are really demons.

“But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.”

By elevating these demons to Jehovah’s level, modern Christians anger God, according to His word.

“…for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God”

Yet Christians, in defiance of the Bible, continue to compare the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to other gods–even though the Bible is crystal clear on the issue of other gods.

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:”
—Isaiah 45:5

“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.“
—Isaiah 43:11

“Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”

Why risk God’s wrath?

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:”

What’s really under assault, whether it’s from the Tom Horn’s Science Fiction Church, the New Age, the PPP or the New Apostolic Reformation, is the supremacy of the Word of God. The Bible’s authority has been under attack for centuries; it has accelerated over the last 150 years.

And this acceleration has come primarily from within the Church; from those sitting and teaching and writing books as Christians.

This “return of the pagan gods” is only one of the popular, hybrid teachings currently at work in American Christianity.

It’s one drop of the tsunami of syncretism lashing at the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days.

Doesn’t sound like the Bible is nearly as hopeful as the pope.

Pope: Who am I to judge gay people? – It’s all about TOLERANCE! Except for any who hold fast to the Bible. And remember, the pope is “Christ–and God!–on earth” according to official Roman Catholic dogma. So essentially, he’s saying, “Who is God to judge?” Blasphemy begets more blasphemy.

North Carolina Awards $10 Million Dollars to Victims of Forced Sterilization – But, how could this have happened here–in the Land of the Free?

Eugenics, a social movement which encouraged selective breeding and sterilization of the population became very popular in the U.S. in the 1920’s.

Eugenics was studied and popularized by the cousin of Charles Darwin. Imagine that! It was one of the primary moving forces behind Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger, the founder of PP, was a booster of eugenics and got the movement going by speaking to an untold number of KKK meetings. To the public, it was all about “birth control.” But it was control of certain births–by certain methods, mainly abortion.

The cover story that eugenics advocates told the public was that it would improve the gene pool by “sterilizing people with “inherited traits” of poverty, promiscuity and alcoholism.”

Although N.C. was only one of 32 states that practiced eugenics, its program was one of the most aggressive of all the states. North Carolina was the only state that allowed social workers to make the determination as to who would be sterilized. Their Eugenics Board rarely rejected proposals brought to them by local welfare officials.

Hitler did not invent the Nazi eugenics program: he got it from the USA, who was the leading eugenics laboratory in the world–until the Nazis took over. The North Carolina Eugenics Board wasn’t dissolved until 1977 and it wasn’t until 2003 that the law permitting involuntary sterilization was repealed.

MSNBC host says newborn infants don’t count as ‘alive’ unless parents decide they do; infanticide is the new abortion– Why not? Babies don’t count as alive before they’re delivered, why should they count after? Life is cheap–and getting cheaper by the minute.

That’s not to say that both men aren’t totally compromised. This is only their assigned public roles: to not just disagree with their opponents, but to absolutely INFURIATE them by both their words and deeds.

What other reason could a politician have, for not only making this statement, BUT FOR MAKING SURE THAT IT WAS WIDELY REPORTED in the compliant Corporate Media? If it were not part of the game plan, does anyone think that this would have been covered by the Corporate Media?

Read It Before It’s Banned By the U.S. Government – Another overwrought article by “pastor” and author Tom Horn written in April 2009–over four years ago. It’s included in this collection because, after checking, it’s still up and functional; it’s still not banned by the U.S. government–and it’s still promoting one of Horn’s books which rode the popularity of the 2012 doomsday cultists.

Because much of what Horn wrote about for 2012 did not come to pass, he is already heavily promoting his next book of cataclysm based on the year 2016. Now, just because Horn writes on a subject doesn’t mean that everything he writes is not true; there is a small amount of good information which is to be gained. But that small amount of information comes at a cost: wading through mountains of info that could be discarded to the reader’s advantage.

Hounds from Hell nipping at our Heels – As with most media, this piece cross-promotes the previously-cited Tom Horn piece–and others.

It is included because the ending paragraph is particularly instructive. After a piece that began as a supposed warning against secret societies (not a bad thing), it ends with:

Kiss your children, your husband or wife every day. Tell them everyday how much you love them. Get on your knees and ask Him, the Creator of heaven and earth, to please help us battle the real forces of evil.”

Good advice–if the author had stopped there. But, because this is 2013 and we’re being programmed to join a coming rebellion against the civil authorities, it doesn’t stop there but adds the following:

Without God on our side, we will not survive as a free nation. Those who bled the battlefields during the Revolutionary War humbled themselves and prayed to Almighty God, asking Him to guide and give them strength. They knew what they were up against. I know what we’re up against. We cannot win without Him on our side.”

Does God give guidance and “strength” to those in the process of overthrowing what is in His word?

Here’s a tip: if something contradicts the word of God, it doesn’t matter how many times the author invokes the name of god, it’s still to be marked by Christians. The many articles written attempting to justify rebellion for Christians clearly contradict scriptures, notably 1 Peter 2:13-14 and Romans 13:1-7. In addition, 2 Peter 2:9-10 is very clear.

“The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.”

The word “government” can also be translated as “authority.”

The American Revolution was not just a rejection of the rule of the king of England, but a rejection of the rule of Jesus Christ. He Himself forbade us to take up the sword and commanded us to render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s. The Apostle Paul states that those who oppose government oppose God. Yet the Founding Fathers” took up the sword and opposed with powder and ball the lawful government. They founded a “Novus Ordo Seculorum” (New World Order or New Order of the Ages) which explicitly left out what Christendom had held for over 1700 years: that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings. The “founding fathers” deliberately chose to reject God as the ultimate sovereign and replace Him with the “will of the people.” America divorced Jesus Christ and chose to pursue the world’s oldest profession.–The Great Harlot:

The U.S. Constitution begins:

“We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Was it the Blessings of God that the USA sought? No, it was the “Blessings of Liberty.” Highly unusual language, to say the least, especially in the 18th century. Especially for a country filled with Christians.

When “liberty” is a people’s highest power, that people will be totally distraught, disoriented and devastated when their highest power comes crashing to the ground. Put your faith in Jesus Christ and secure His blessings–not the false idols of man.
