2025 was a significant year for equality in Europe. As Member States continued the transposition of the EU Directives on Standards for Equality Bodies, Equinet worked closely with its members, European institutions, and civil society partners to help shape national implementation processes and strengthen equality infrastructures across Europe.
At the same time, Equinet strengthened its position as a leading expert on equality and non-discrimination by expanding its work on emerging challenges such as artificial intelligence and climate change. Through strategic engagement, specialised training, and cross-sector cooperation, Equinet continued to support Equality Bodies in responding to rapidly evolving societal and technological developments.
