Nationwide Logistics Services
Our logistics services include full truck load (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL) pickups, “white glove” services, and, where applicable, the deployment of ERI patented secure locked bins (U.S. Patent 9365227) or secure hard drive containers.
To ensure safe and secure collection, ERI recommends best practices such as palletizing and shrink-wrapping stackable electronics and using lined Gaylord boxes places on pallets for mixed e-waste. These methods provide stability and protection during transport.
For clients unable to pre-package materials before pickup, ERI offers a turnkey White Glove Service (WGS). This includes complete on-site support for packaging, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping, and, when requested, padded pickup. WGS is available for both small- and large-scale logistics engagements. Once materials are collected, they are transported to the nearest ERI facility for certified in-house processing.
All logistics operations are scheduled and tracked through ERI’s proprietary OptechTM portal, which provides real-time visibility and asset management for every stage of the logistics process.
ERI operates a dedicated fleet of vehicles and partners with trusted third-party logistics providers and asset-based carriers across the U.S. All transportation partners are vetted through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s SAFER (Safety and Fitness Electronic Records) system, which monitors accident history, inspection results, and compliance with operator safety protocols. ERI prioritizes SmartWay Certified carriers whenever possible, demonstrating our commitment to reducing carbon emissions and improving environmental performance.
All third-party partners undergo the same rigorous background screening and security onboarding and ERI’s in-house logistics personnel to ensure consistent standards of service and data security.
Complete Chain of Custody
Optech Capture
ERI's proprietary software, Optech Capture, was created to complete the chain of custody in the hands of ERI's on-site logistics crews around the globe.
Optech Capture is a proprietary mobile application which can be utilized at the time of pickup to serialize and photograph every device picked up. Utilizing ERI's proprietary SOAR optical character recognition (OCR) technology combined with ERI's industry leading 40,000+ model & SKU library, Optech Capture securely transmits make, model and serial number information as well as high-definition device condition photos to Optech, offering an industry leading solution which provides a truly end-to-end chain of custody.

Seamless Consolidation & Removal
Trailer Staging
ERI recognizes that some clients have limited space for the storage and consolidation of electronic devices. One of the many solutions ERI offers is the placement of a trailer in which electronics can be consolidated for shipment.
ERI can stage a trailer at the client's choice of location where the client can load properly packaged electronics into the trailer. When the trailer is full, ERI can remove the full trailer from the site and replace with an empty trailer to provide seamless collection of electronics for recycling.
For clients with limited on-site storage capacity, ERI offers trailer staging services to facilitate seamless electronics consolidation and removal. At the client's request, ERI will place an empty trailer at the designated location. Clients may load properly packaged electronics over time, and once the trailer is full, ERI will remove the full trailer from the site and replace it with an empty unit to provide seamless collection of electronics for recycling.
