Ok 1984... this is a bit creepy

My friend at work brought me this gift the other day {a full $0.75 might I add} - I seriously can't get over it! I don't know if I missed something... but this girl looks oddly familiar and the same name? Geez--- if only I had known my love triangle was with a pirate and a sailor.

Please tell me you agree --- this is way too close to home, well almost other than the fact I'm not from the 1800's stuck in a love triangle with a pirate {the bad boy} and sailor {the practical boy}, I will let you know who she chooses!

I know... you can hardly wait, neither can I... this is my destiny.

things to {LOVE} on a friday

My new Ray Bans - I seriously love them, they are the perfect pair of sunglasses.

My new Car - I don't even know where to start on this, it is a car I have always wanted, I love the way it drives, it is cute yet functional. It makes me happy.

My new Book - I love the Hunger Games series, so intriguing and unpredictable. I can't wait to dive into the last book.

it's a miracle... i can see

I remember when I first got my contacts I woke up one morning, ran out of my room and yelled to my mom... it's a miracle I can see. Indeed it was a miracle I could see... but only because I had slept in my contacts. Now it really is a miracle, I can see and would recommend Lasik in a heart beat.

NPH can really come through for a good laugh and make you smile when you need it most. Glee was awesome and Neil Patrick Harris was an amazing guest star!!! Love it.

Do you remember when iPods didn't exist and how a MIXED CD was always the gift of choice while dating someone, you gave it your special touch and would sneak in a song about how you care. Today I FINALLY went through all my old CDs and here are a few I had stashed away and forgotten all about and you wonder why these guys didn't make the cut... they were so thoughtful.

I had to give it up… my favorite “drink relief”. It wasn’t that I really drank it all that often, but you know how it is when you can’t have something… you want it EVEN more!

Wayne - Dan & his Dad

Wayne has been golfing like crazy lately, so I thought I would go out and see what all the fuss was about. ;) I drove the cart, took lots of random pictures and Wayne bought me a special snack - salt & vinegar chips w/ a side of a big hunk. I actually had a lot of fun { driving range - here I come } BTW: the day was goregous

crazy birthday trip to vegas for my baby ::: getting rid of the ponytail do and getting a new fresh look ::: out with the old and with the new { I can't wait to sell mine} ::: my obession with gladiator sandals, I know they aren't for everyone ::: lots of summer bbq'ing, the first was a success - maybe next time we can invite some more ladies ::: quick boating trips to flaming gorge with awesome friends ::: a romantic hot air balloon ride ::: the highly anticipated purchase of my new iMac { it makes me smile, just thinking of the beauty }

neglected...

My poor blog has been neglected, based on the pure fact of nothing really to post. My camera continues to forget to capture special moments to blog about (hey. someone has to take the blame) and therefore this is what I have left to post.

April is going to be a crazy month... and please, I promise... "real photos" will document the extreme adventures to come. I can hardly wait!

I am so in love with my new iPhone! I can't get over how convenient, easy and reliable it is. I use this thing for everything and it is pretty much amazing at everything. I'm addicted to the touch pad, voicemail, music, movies, free app's, games, internet, facebook, blogging, email, photos, calendar, scriptures... do I need to say more? I don't think so.
