Heyya Fabfree! I hope your weekend is going as wonderfuly as mine!

Late Afternoon

I just dropping in to show off a couple of fresh finds for us.  I’m still opening boxes and bags from the Women’s Stuff Hunt and when I opened this super cute top from Tin Roof, I knew I had to show y’all. This is the ‘Daisies’ top and it’s the 1L prize for the hunt. Daisies comes in the standard Mesh sizes XXS-L and FitMesh for SLink, Belleza, Maitreya and TMP.  The rusty red is an exclusive color for this top only for the Women’s Stuff Hunt!

My skirt is a free Group Gift from a ‘New To Me’ designer -> Egoxentrikax.  This is the ‘Pao’ skirt and it’s the current free group gift in the main shop. Pao comes in FitMesh sizes XXS-XXL as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya and SLink.  If beige isn’t your color, the gift also includes this skirt in a denim blue.

FabFree is How Old?

We can hardly believe it ourselves, but Fabulously Free in SL is celebrating it’s 9th Birthday on September 6th! We have been racking our brains for weeks trying to figure out just how we’d like to celebrate and we finally came to the conclusion that it would be nice to include you all, our Fabulous Readers who have been supporting us for all of these wonderful years!

What we are doing is hosting a fun “FabFree 9th Anniversary Contest” with tons of sweet LINDEN prizes that anyone can enter!

The Low Down:

Basically, what you need to do is write a quick letter, short story, or poem expressing your positive experiences with Fabulously Free in SL. It may be a story about your favourite fabfreebie score, or a story about how one of the writers inspired you to start your own blog, or even just a quick little hello to introduce yourself and tell us your FabFree blog reading routine or how long you have been reading.

Contest Begin: August 14th, 2016
Contest Entry Deadline: August 31st, 2016
Submit Entries to: LOVE TRILL (via inworld notecard) titled “FabFree 9th Anniversary Conest Entry – (your inworld name)”
Contest End: September 6th, 2016

The Winner’s entries will be published and their inworld names announced on September 6th via the Blog – with the whole blogging team selecting winners based on kindness, witt, creativity.. Could be anything to catch our eyes and win our votes.

This May Be Wrong, But It Feels So Right

Snapshot_002Good morning FabFree!  It has been a quiet couple of days on the blog due to many of us Fab Writers having RL issues/excitement, but don’t let that think that you have to take a break from freebie shopping, because there is plenty out there.  Have a peek at our Fabulously Free in SL Scoop.It Page where we scoop up our own posts, but also other offers we haven’t had time to blog… or maybe check out our flickr pool where other bloggers/photographers pop their photos into with under 75L items.  Don’t give up on us here, we’ll be back to our usual freebie posting schedule very soon!

Today I am here to share that This is Wrong has added a new free outfit to their gift wall where you will find that there is a handful of clothing items for women and men that are all priced at 0L for you to enjoy.  The casual Pic Nic Outfit that I am wearing is the latest addition and is a one piece mesh item that comes in Maitreya, Slink and Belleza mesh body specific sizes.  I didn’t try it with the system body, but I have a feeling it would work just fine by digging out an alpha layer or two from another outfit in your inventory.  I should note that on the back of this shirt is the a large vampire mouth with fangs and while it doesn’t seem like something I would normally wear, it’s actually pretty cool and reminds me of True Blood.  This outfit is way Sookie!

These trendy High Tops were just what I needed to complete my outfit today.  I picked up the GOS Boutique High Tops for free at The Gacha Garden Event and then played the gacha machine @75L per play to apply the colour.  Without the purchased applier they have a text print all over them rendering them a demo pretty much, so I probably wouldn’t have picked them up unless I had intended to play for an applier… which I did!
