Oops, I Did it Again!

Oops, I Did it Again

I am in dire need of a time out right about now!  Not that I’ve been doing anything particularly stressful, but you know what the holidays are like!  Rush rush rush!  I stopped by a café to collect myself, and now I’m being tempted by all the desserts that are calling my name…. A bit of treacle tart can’t hurt, can it?

I’ve Got it on Vinyl

There’s a new group gift at Vinyl!  This really pretty lacy tank can be yours when you join the free group!  It comes with an HUD to change the colour to a very pretty wrapping paper look – but I just didn’t apply it because I liked the white so much.  As far as I know you cannot change it back to white once you apply the texture – so just be aware! There are several other lovely group gifts there too while you’re at it.

Hiya special post today. One of my favorite creators is back inworld for the holiday season only.

Belle Of The Ballroom

The story goes something like this, back in the dark ages of Second Life’s beginning, there was a creator making striking, and innovative designs, especially in formal wear, way ahead of the rest. For 10 years, every month a new wonderful creation was to be had for free. Like all good things, this came to an end and was a sad day for forward-thinking fashionistas. With Advent season upon us, Poulet Koenkamp owner and creator of PurpleMoon Creations has made a return to the grid, for a limited time. YAY! And she comes bearing gifts 🙂 Jacx is modeling the new Holiday Dress group gift. This striking formal with a choker collar and barely-there top, in a merry red color, is certainly an attention-getter. Elf!

Elf!

Ya know that scene in “Elf” where Buddy jumps up and down and screams “SANTA… I KNOW HIM”? Yeah… that my mood today! And not just because Elf is my favorite Christmas movie. I’ve been bouncing around the Grid grabbing freebies and Advents and Hunts and Group Gifts like crazy!

In fact you may recognize my cute Christmas flavored top today from Luas. This is the “Nuria” sweater and it was the November group gift waaaay back in 2019. “So why are you showing it?” You may ask… Mostly ’cause it’s so cute and there are new folks joining Second Life or our Blog all the time.  Don’t hate on our beloved no0bs! 😉  Just go join the Luas group for only 50L and help yourself to a ton of current and past gifts!

My little ornament wish for y’all is from the very eclectic designer, Magnetic. If you haven’t checked this fun shop out yet… do it. I “discovered” it today while on the Joyeux Noel Hunt. Magnetic has loaded it’s gift box with a fatpack of these ornaments with a hold animation for just 2L. Not too much for a bit of Holiday cheer!

Now, let’s circle back to “Elf” ’cause this is the star of today’s show! My super cute “Elf” hat!
