Secrets is currently hosting a Halloween hunt, and I really couldn’t resist this beaded top and skirt situation. It’s really nice, and just falls so prettily. To get yours, look for the hidden pumpkins around the store. The top and skirt are just 50L each when you find the pumpkin.

My rather expressive cup is a free gift from Space Cadet that I picked up at Pride at Home. This is such a cool space to explore: the sim has been decorated as a trick-or-treating neighbourhood, but each house has a theme (like Barbie, Peanuts or Wicked!). Really fun to explore, and each house has a free gift by the front door. Not sure on the end date for this one, so head over ASAP.

Welcome To My Nightmare

I’m not saying that being pregnant is a nightmare. I’m not saying having children is a nightmare, I have one of my own! I certainly empathize with people having fertility struggles, as I have so many friends who needed help to conceive. This, though, is my personal nightmare. Pregnant in SL? Pregnant at this age? Pregnant again? Stuck at home doing laundry with no help and this gigantic belly? Nope, nope, nope, I’m out!

I just had to blog these gifts though, because it’s also what makes SL so very fun and funny. When I was trying on gifts from the TSS Hauntiversary, I even mentioned in chat that I should do a pregnant blog post with this gift, and I just couldn’t give up the idea. First, we should talk about all the gifts I’m wearing in this pic:

I know for a fact there are free pregnancy tests on MP (at least there used to be!) I don’t know from experience, but I know via friend’s experience, having a baby in SL is an expensive venture, just as it is in RL. Personally, I will keep mine to RP photos only! lol
