We humans consume so much, and here in the U.S. it’s non-stop advertising to BUY BUY BUY! I’m quite sure that’s where my love of upcycling comes from, a visceral reaction against all the consumption. Well, that and picking salvage yards with my Dad in NYC as a kid, there were so many cool things there!
I was excited to see Freda in the Holiday Shop & Hop and then I couldn’t believe it when I put on her gift to find it’s upcycled! Pieces of different textures put together to make a new outfit is right up my alley. I have a bunch of other cool free gifts I got at S&H to show you too.

The annual Addams Halloween Hunt has begun, and it’s everything I wanted it to be! There’s a dress, stockings, a jacket, shorts, accessories and more! I found all nine pumpkins, and the last one contains 250L in store credit as well. How nice is that? I hear that it’s very busy on the sim, seeing as it just opened yesterday, so if you’re itching to get started, you can visit their cam sim HERE. There’s really no explanation for it. I’ve been to Vaki Kvaki bunches of times – it shares a sim with Eternus and I’ve bopped over countless times to check on the lucky boards. Why then, have I never joined the free group and checked for free group gifts?
