Hello there, Fabulous Readers.  I hope you are having a great week.  It has been a super busy one for me in RL.  Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.  I don’t know about you, but I sure could use a weekend!  Gus and I are popping in quickly to share a couple of free group gifts with you.

Float Like a Butterfly

Last month, I shared the July group gift from Just Imagine, and I’m back with their beautiful August giftie.  The Butterfly gift features a tank-style wrap dress with a plunging v-shaped neckline, ideal for summer days.  I love the cheery butterfly print and coral-colored sash.  The folder also includes the butterfly earrings, which I am wearing, and a butterfly choker necklace that I couldn’t get to work with my pose.  It’s cute, though! A Bit of September Birdwatching

Happiness Blooms from Within

Hello Fab Readers!  I hit the hunt trail again this weekend and discovered a cheery dress that I picked up completely for free.  All I had to do was invest a small amount of time doing some “birding” (more on that below) and it was completely worth it.

Packed with Options

This vibrant frock is the first free hunt prize from GGVG in The Free Dove’s September Hunt.  It features an off-the-shoulder fit, layered sleeves, and a slightly flared skirt.  In addition, the generous designer included a texture change HUD with 20 bold selections for the floral print.  Honestly, it was hard to choose my favorite one for the photo!   There are five gifts from GGVG concealed on the Free Dove sim (I found this beauty there) and an additional 5 scattered throughout the GGVG main store location.  In order to collect the items, you need to be a member of The Free Dove group, but it’s completely free to join.  You’ll be searching for a small, reddish-brown, and yellow feathered friend.  The hunt runs through September 30th.

Hello Fabulous Readers!  I am so excited to join the Fab Free team!  I’ve been a long time Fab Free member, and it is a dream come true to blog for all of you.  I’m looking forward to sharing my fashion finds as I journey around the grid, so without further ado, let’s dive right in.

Birds of a Feather…

I don’t know about you, but I love it when I head to a store to pick up an item and just happen to spot another gift that I knew nothing about ahead of time.  It’s definitely a welcome added bonus!  That happened to me the other day when I followed Aline’s advice in her post here, and stopped by Ewa Boutique to pick up their latest Fab Free group gift.  Right away, I noticed the sleek Aghata dress vendor on the wall.  All I had to do was change my group tag to the FitMesh Fanatics group, tap the board, and pay zero Linden dollars …. easy peasy!  Since the group is free to join, my budget was just as thrilled as I was with my discovery.  This strapless frock hugs my curves and allows my shoulders to soak up some late summer sunshine.  The gift includes adorable lacing and ties on the sleeves, a texture change HUD, and a coordinating pair of Valkire heels.  If red is not up your alley, you have 11 other hues to select from.  I’m sure you will love this dress as much as I do!

Happy Monday, Fab Free! I hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy. I’ve been feeling a lot of negativity in real life right now due to COVID-19 taking over the world… but I hope we can all look on the bright side, stay positive and try to have fun this week. On that note, I also want to send best wishes and healing to all the victims who are being affected by the virus right now. Let’s all stay inside, get cozy and protect ourselves by doing a little bit of fabulously free shopping in the comfort of our homes.

Have I ever mentioned that my favourite colour is purple? In spiritual communities, purple or violet represents spiritual awareness and in Chakra healing, it is believed that the energy of this colour helps one become more aware of oneself and others around you. During this difficult time, maybe what we all need is a bit more purple in our lives. Violet and purple also remind of Spring- which is almost here- so let’s celebrate to that! I am totally repping my home town of Toronto in this t-shirt today – you know, Drake lyrics on my shirt and all that jazz!  Toronto is a concrete jungle of greyness and insanity at times, but right now the trees are in bloom, the sun is shining and I’m ready to take it all in…but maybe a nap first? Good thing this exceedingly comfortable pool table just happened to be here…

Make A Wish
When I was little and I came across a fountain, I would beg my Mom for pennies to throw in so I could make a wish.  I can’t remember what I would wish for, but with the vivid imagination I always had, I bet it was some wild and crazy stuff.  What are Canadian kids throwing in fountains now?  We have no more pennies!  If I have to start throwing in nickels, you can bet I’m going to expect it’s a bulk wish purchase.
