Having spent my young adult (formative) years in New Orleans I have seen many, many parades. Parades are fun spectacles and New Orleans loves them! The LGBQT population of the city is very active and always has been. Sadly so many lived a life that didn’t fulfill them because of homophobia in the general public. The Pride events taking place around the world celebrate diversity. “Be Who You Are” and the Golden Rule are two constants in my life. I celebrate my LGBQT family and friends every day.

Here Comes the Parade

After sorting through all things Pride in my recent inventory I decided on the festive dress pictured above. This is awesome dress from Belle Epoque! There is always something new for group members. The Aiora – Pride edition comes in this very cool print of colorful hearts. The styling and details are a bit hard to see in my picture but I’m sure you’ll love them. I paired my dress with these comfy free sandals by Dark Salvation that also come in a Pride motif/colors. The Toni Pride 1 sandals are fitted for: Erika, GenX, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn. You can find them at the store’s entrance. There several Pride outfits and dresses near the entrance priced from $25 to $75.

Finishing Touches

I did a close up so you can see the nails and makeup I’m wearing today. The Pride Croc Set nails are a free group gift for the 1990 store group that is free to join. The gift contains both a Coffin and a Stiletto set. You’ll find several other group gifts on the gift wall on the 2nd floor landing. These are rigged for BBL, Kupra/Kups, Legacy. Maitreya, and Reborn. There are XL sets for each of these bodies.

The stunning makeup comes from Lucci. It’s the Pride Collection designed for the LelEvo/X heads. There are both an applier hud and a BOM face tat in the package. You’ll find it on the SL Marketplace for $1L.
