It’s the Man Cave! The Man Cave Event just opened a few days ago and in tradition, there are loads of gifts hanging in beer cans at the top of most of the booths. I’m stoked that I have so many things to blog for you this month. You need the free Man Cave tag on to collect the gifts, but they plenty and they are free. Here’s some of what I brought home:

The Man Cave Event just opened on December 17th, so it’ll stay open past Christmas until January 11th. Plenty of time to slide all those gifts into your inventory 😉

Get Baked at the Frost Fair

Hello again Fab Free’rs! As we creep closer and closer to Christmas I’m realizing I have so much still to do! Doesn’t it always seem that no matter how well you plan there’s always something left to be done. Baking is on the list of things to be done. Truth be told I probably do more baking Christmas Eve than I do the rest of the year combined. I like to gift baked goods. With that in mind the outfit Pru is wearing is very much an outfit I’d spend all day Christmas Eve in while I made a mess of my kitchen! This headband by Boutique 187 was just too cute to pass up. It’s the cherry on top of an already cute outfit. It isn’t often I have an excuse to wear such a cute and silly accessory. Flower Child

Like groovy!

The Flower Power Fair has freebies and dollarbies.

The overall theme is hippie, boho, 70s but you will find non retro items there too. Not all booths have gifts so look for the blue & floral present boxes. The gifts ranged from FREE to 1L. I am opting to show you some of the truly hippie flower child gifts I picked up. My wild cute funky glasses are 1L and from 187. My happy bright pink flower headpiece is FREE from Swallow. It even includes a version you can size since hair can be so fussy sometimes lol. I lucked out and didnt need to play with resizing. My little flower ring is 1L from IT! and includes a color hud with resizer. I did have to play a bit with sizing it down to fit my slink fingers but I was able to get a good fit. Ok I am gonna harsh your mellow a little bit, the Flower Power Fair is a huge event and you are gonna have to walk around. Its a landing point dealio so I can’t give direct tps to the booths. That being said it was worth spending the time wandering thru the event to find all gifts. The event runs til Feb 26th so you have time to do your walking around.

As soon as I tried on the goodies I collected I knew I needed to head over to Marketplace for the perfect tie dye shirt to pair them with. I kept coming back to this mesh tie dye shirt so I went for it man. I am totally stoked I did. It has a really fab vivid tye dye print which is just what I wanted. Plus its not just a basic tank its got a cool criss cross strappy open back. The tie dye shirt set me back 65L but I am not regretting it this outfit is totally retro and fun.

Accessory Day – Finishing Touches

Need just a little something to finish off your outfit?

Here are some basic goto accessories and a couple of statement pieces you may want to ad to your wardrobe.

I like to just toss on a tank and some jeans when playing with accessories so I can really focus in on them.

There are group gifts, hunt items, dollarbies and freebies.

From the above pic both my cool fun Whale purse and sunglasses are FREE group gifts and the groups are FREE to join. My purse is from 187, just a sheer fun item sure to turn heads. Plus lots of other to GGs grab while you are there. My sunglasses are from Glamistry but require the SL F & O group tag. No worries you can join the group from the pink sign above the gift.

My cute heart hair pins are from the Color me Project which runs til Feb 25th. There are all sorts of FREE gifts there, these came from the Le Coq D’or stall. You can wear just 1 or all 4 since they attach separately. You can edit them into just the right spots in your hair.

My 2 hearts necklace is from the Vintage Valentine Hunt and costs 1L. You also have the option to buy it for 25L if you really don’t wanna hunt but its really easy to find so save yourself those lindens. The it! shop is the stop for this prize and the hint is “Well aren’t you the lucky one!”

I found these cool Gem Wing cuff Earrings by R.icielli for 1L on Marketplace. You get both right and left earrings. You can edit them for a good fit so they will probably even work with mesh ears.

This pretty FREE Marquessa Diamond pink set by EarthStones is lovely to have for your next formal event. The set comes in 3 separate boxes, necklace, bracelet and earrings. There are also several other gifts for you to pick up making the 250L group join fee worth it. You do have to take a long walk to get inside to where the gifts are don’t give up they are there. My Opulant mask is a FREE hunt from the Jack and Jill hunt (JOJ) which runs til Feb 29th. This is on the Jill path, found at Melonopolis Use the hint “Oh No! Hurry! It’s on FIRE!!! There are actually 3 masks, silver, gold and blk included so you are good to match any jewelry you have.
