Yup, the current round of Redeux marks the event’s 8th anniversary. You know that means that there are free gifts, right? We’re so very spoiled in SL. You’ll need to join the free event group and then there is a free group gift at each booth. The freebies that I’m wearing today from Redeux are:

A Gift From Carol
Carol’s Store is one of the stores that handed out free store credit. Group members were gifted with 500L of store credit. Even better, all of the advent gifts for this year have been set out at 50L each *and* they can be purchased with the store credit. I love the advent calender at Carol’s Store because it’s got a really great range of gifts, they’re not all Christmas, or even winter, themed. I took the opportunity to pick out this sweet dress that I think really brings out my eyes *wink* and comes sized for:

Once you’ve rounded out your advent haul with any days that you missed/want, you can use the free credit on whatever else you’d like in the store. The credit doesn’t expire so there’s no rush! The only disclaimer is that I don’t know how long the free credit will be available to pick up. It’s been out for a bit now so you should definitely make this your first stop. You need to be in the Carol’s Store group to get the free group gift, and that group costs 10L to join. You’ll also need the group activated to purchase the advent gifts.
A Gift from Yoshi
A free gift card at one of my favorite eye stores? Yes, please! I love Yoshi and if you’re not already a member it’s only 10L to join. Yoshi is giving out a free 500L giftcard to group members and since most of the eyes are available for only 99L per color I had a fun little shopping spree and came away with just the shades and styles that I wanted! The eyes I’m wearing here are the Cerulean shade from the Kitty 2 collection. Yoshi is great for really interesting and sci fi sort of inspired eyes, but I tend a bit more towards the natural and there’s plenty of that to be found as well. They’re also great because they come in a wide variety of appliers to fit whatever you wear plus mesh eyes. Be sure to make your way up to the third floor while you’re there, that’s where some other free group gifts and discounts can be found. The 500L giftcard, however, will only be available until January 4th.
A Gift From Borderline
My final stop for tonight is the reason for the earworm in the title of this post, and that’s Borderline! There are some free group gifts that I just love at Borderline to finish out a look. I had never been to this store and I’m so pleased to have discovered it, it’s got a really great vibe and I want all of the things there. I’m wearing just one of the free gifts up on the wall today and it’s my vampire fang lip piercings, which includes a HUD of metal colors to choose from. The group is free to join so you can get in and scoop up all of the free group gifts. It’s quite a gift.

I found a bit of fun over at Beautiful Dirty Rich and I just had to share. I do love that store, but somehow I missed a freegroup gift! I don’t know how that happened. The free group gift that I’m referring to is this amazing bodysuit. B.D.R. knows how to do sexy and these high cut hips are positively killing it. It’s so very simple and so very sexy. I was totally feeling the stripes but there’s a HUD with lots of other patterns and colors to pick from as well. There’s definitely a Halloweeny type theme going on with the options, but there’s plenty that can absolutely be worn outside of the season. The group at Beautiful Dirty Rich is free to join and the free gifts are on the wall to the right when you go into the store.

On the wall to the left at Beautiful Dirty Rich are the sale and event offerings. That’s where I found this fantastic face paint that I’m wearing today. There are three face paint options there. Two of them go along with the outfits that are also on sale right above them and the third is another free group gift. However, I couldn’t resist this smile. It’s fantastically creepy, don’t you think? It goes along with the Miix Weekend outfit so I assume that means it will be on sale through today. For 50L I got the white face paint in various opacities plus of course that big creepy smile. The eyeshadow did not come with it, I added that separately.

I missed all of the partying yesterday evening. I found this cache of Irish Whiskey sitting there so lonely with no one watching over all of it. What’s a girl to do? Luckily I found an empty stein and set forth on tasting said whiskey. Guess I might have done a wee bit less swilling and more tasting. At least I look perfectly attired in a shade of green (and it’s not the color of my face!).

The FabFree St. Patty’s Hunt is running until March 31st so you have time to pick up any items you may have missed. I picked up this cute casual dress at Emerald Couture. It’s the Chun dress with a green texture on white that is reminiscent of the Blue Willow china pattern. It’s not the usual St. Patty’s day textures making it a dress you can wear at any time of the year. The package includes matching shoes making it a no-brainer for me. Some days I despise trying to match shoes. Oh, the best part is that it’s free!

Happy Humpday! While everyone swelters in the overwhelming heat I humped on down to my little beach to keep cool. Of course I mean I tp’ed there cause it’s too hot to hump anywhere (keep your minds out of the gutter readers!). So anyway, I hope you are enjoying all of the goodies from FabFree at Fifteen Anniversary. It’s exciting to hear that our FabFree group is still going strong after 15 years. I have a theory about Second Life years. I suspect they’re rather like dog years. Does that mean that we’ve been around even longer? Someone help me with the math!
Not Teeny- Weenie But Still a Bikini
Staying cool can be hard to do but have no fear. Shining has this awesome bikini up for the FabFree at Fifteen Anniversary for only $60L! This style is ideal for those who want to show less skin, I don’t remember ever seeing details like this on a bikini top. I adore the retro look of the top with its’ crossed neck strap giving it a halter look. Included is a five color texture change hud.
