Going into Culture Shock!

Culture Shock is in full swing and there are many gifts to pick up. Here are some of the gifts I grabbed, as well as, a few charity donation items.

The gray Original t-shirt from Shabby Cat and Iris Rigged Wellington boots from [Gos] are gifts at Culture Shock. I had to have the Giselle skin from Glam Affair, even though it is not free… L$599. The skin is a donation item from Glam Affair at Culture Shock with 100% of the proceeds going to charity. I completed the look with the denim frill skirt from the lucky chair at BUKKA.

Somnia is offering burnt orange button flap shorts and a striped Queen shirt free at Culture Shock. The Darkness ring is from Sn@tch and the Eccentric Pencil Necklace is from Apple May Designs.

The </3 Mesh cropped shirt from ONYX WEAR, cerise Giny skirt from .::PiCHi::., and Aztec aqua eye Liner from Adore & Abhor are gifts from Culture Shock. The Got Music? framed poster is a gift from What Next.

SAKIDE is giving Favorite V Pulls in blue and grey. I paired the long sleeve shirt with a free cherry woolen cardigan from [A]renesmee. The texture changeable deLuxe monroe piercing is a pretty cool gift from the A:S:S booth at Culture Shock.

The Cherry print mesh shirt is a Ricielli group gift only available at Culture Shock. Aleida is giving the greta fashion clutch for the event.

Alterego is giving the shh … juss take it dress in aqua, green, grey, pink, and red. The Patent yellow Alex heels are a gift from G Field at Culture Shock. The Culture Shock lip gloss is a gift from blackLiquid.

The blonde Bobby hair is a hunt gift from Mina Hair for the High Voltage Hunt from Depraved Nation.

Binghamton Station

ALEIDA has made some changes to their store and is celebrating with some fabulous group gifts. In three blue bags under the group gift (I’ll get to it in a moment) are the Ronaldo V-Neck Shirt, Cafu Baggy Pants, and Luca Bag. The pants are mesh and come in two sizes.

Now onto the group gift. Do it better with the Neymar Top, Baggy Crotch Jeans and Houms Sneakers. The tank comes in red and yellow and again, the pants are mesh and come in two different sizes. The sneakers have a resize script and includes an alpha layer. Don’t miss the train on these great group gifts.

Two Good Ydeas

Group gift are plentiful at Ydea. The latest gift is the Mark Outfit. The zippered shirt and camo pants also come with sunglasses and arm tatoos. Boots are also included, but i wanted to also show you a gift that was sent out to group members of ALEIDA. The Alaska Boots were sent out as a “just because” and thank you gift. It’s still in the notices, so join ALEIDA for a great pair of boots.

I also picked up the Loren Outfit at Ydea. The white collared shirt, brown vest, and black pants will have you looking dapper on date night. Past gifts are available, so this is a good group to join.

Winter Fun

I spent the day at Calas Galadhon Park Sims for some winter exercise. I took part in a bit of skating across several of the sims. It’s very beautiful and you see so much of the park. I kept warm in the group gift from ALEIDA . The Birger Short Parka and Jacob Pants are both functional and stylish.

I also did some cross-country skiing. I chose the Grey Shirt, Track Jacket, and Jeans, which is the Candy Cane 3 Hunt gift at Sweeter Than Candy. Be sure to journey to Calas Galadhon Park Sims for a fun day in the snow.

Holiday Dresses

Ice Princess

Looking for something fun to do? Grab the white snakeskin eXotica skates from Cattiva e Cattivo and the ruby red Ice Princess ensemble from Prim & Pixel Paradise and head to the rink! Take a look around Prim & Pixel Paradise because there’s lots of gifts on the walls! Oh and there are green Rockstar ice skate boots for the men at Cattiva e Cattivo, so no need to drag your man all over to find skates!

The Nessum dorma heart shape necklace is in the 20 minute camp chair at U&R DOGS. The Linda hair is a pulled back ponytail wih an intricate braided bun. This hair in the naturals color is the newest group gift for EMO-tions members. The Ingrid skin is the November group gift for ALEIDA members. This skin comes in the light, sunk, and tan skin tones. There is a small L$100 one time enrollment fee to join the ALEIDA update group.

I had all intentions on showing a great spot for ice skating, but I did a search and there are way too many to list. From romantic frozen ponds to virtual hockey stadiums, I had a lot of fun exploring all the places I found. Soooo… leave us comments on the amazing places you find!

So I read on the SL blog that the viewer 2.2 was released, I downloaded it and tried it. But shadows wasn’t working for me, but my inventory did sorted again the way I wanted to. Soo not exactly what I wanted. Then on my flickr it was suggested to download the beta viewer and yess shadows was working, inventory-sort-order didn’t and I kept crashing! Soo now I am back to Kirstens Viewer, which is the best atm for me. Linden Lab, I tried to use the official viewer, I really did.

So back at glamorizing my avatar with gorgeous tattoo layers! I am a big fan of these and Glamorize is offering affordable priced ones.. soo here are some goodies for you to grab!

The eyeliners pack is ideal to wear with your prim lashes, cause it gives your eyes that extra depth instantly! There are 5 types in the package for 5L, so actually it’s just 1L each! Fabulous!

I also grabbed the subtle lipgloss pack, which is also just 5L and gives a nice subtle shine to your lips. The new skin from Candydoll is beautifull already, so I didn’t want to change to drasticall with make-up. But these eyeliner and lipgloss are perferct!

First picture is just the skin, second is with eyeliner and lipgloss layer and last picture is with prim lashes to show you the result! Pretttyyyy! The only thing missing for me is universal different color eyebrows that would blend with every skin…sooo I could wear blond to black hair with every skin! Must be quite a challenge I think for make-up designers! If anyone knows if such a thing already exists please let me know!!

Take a Glance

Glance is celebrating the grand opening with gifts in nearly every store!

The black glance dress from Nefertiti Kimagawa is a wonderful warm dress that will be great when we head into the cooler months! The black Kidskin gloves are a gift at Indyra Originals. Everyone needs a nice pair of gloves to complete an outfit and these are awesome!

The purple Cameron dress is a gift in the MEB Fashion. The dress has the option to be worn with or without sleeves.

The poofy pink Orchid dress is a gift from Purple Moon.

Still keeping with the pink theme, the Butterfly Princess dress is L$10 at My Precious.

The beautiful Moonlight gown and Budapest eyes are free gifts at NOON. The Eva bracelets are one of the free gifts at Burroughs Jewelry.

The Widow dress from Aleida also includes black stockings. The MaryBelle heels from ByKay aren’t free, but are some of my favorite shoes lately!

From Bolero Collection I picked up the red Fuego dress absolutely free. The pink Fumetto dress and Latex skirt and top are in a L$10 gift bag at Bolero Collection.

The racy little Kiana dress is a L$10 gift at Convoitise. The Eva bracelets, Sweetheart Earrings, and Emily necklace are all free gifts at Burroughs Jewelry. Each piece of the jewelry is color changeable with the included hud.

If you’re looking for something casual, the rainbow tank, shorts, belt, and sneakers are in the gift at Anubis Style.

There’s also several swimwear gifts in the Glance Style stores. The Fire Blossom bikini is a gift at Shiki. The Blast of Summer sexy one piece swimsuit and hat is in the gift bag at Alatiel Fashions.

Live an ICON Lifestyle.

Have you strolled through the stores at the ICON Lifestyle sim? There are gifts in many of the stores on this sim so check them all! Here’s some of the gifts I found.

I’m completely in love with the black and purple Milana long dress from Indyra Originals. The gold and pearl Indian bangles are one of the gifts at Zaara.

I’ve blogged the Mala classy tank and belted capri pants from Zaara before, but if you haven’t gotten this it is well worth it! The brown Rosette platform heels are the welcome gift when you join the G Field sub-o.

The extreme mini dress or long shirt is the sub-o welcome gift at paper.doll. This is very very short as a dress and may show off your bits (which is the reason why I am wearing the black shinny leggings from the Lunas boutique group notices). The black Mid Calf Walking boots are in one of the premium lucky chairs at Shoe Fly Shoes.

The black and gold Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend dress is free at G Sloane Couture. The black strappy Bellas heels are in the freebie ring at Shoe Fly Shoes. The red Rebecca gown is a dollarbie at Trubble.

This Samba bikini comes with amethyst earrings and is from Aleida. The green Ssese II corset top, denim Gula capri, white Corazao belt, green Lamu ballerina flats are also free at Aleida. One of the gifts is free in the store and the other is from the welcome drop down menu when you walk in the store. (I forgot which one though!)

Get cozy in the pumpkin colored lounging cami and panties set from elymode.

Or get the sexy blue Azura satin and lace Cincher lingerie set from Blacklace.

Feel a little naughty?? Pull out the feather duster and put on this black and white Only For Him dress from Sugarcube. Yeah, yeah, this dress may not seem naughty, but with a feather duster and a few choice poses it very well could be! The black and white sesame dolly border balloon dress is another free gift from Sugarcube.
