In Memory of Our Fallen Dove

It’s sad to say goodbye to someone has influenced so many of us in Second Life. Also known as Dove, Palomma Casanova, owner & driving force of The Free Dove has passed way. Our dove will now soar high absent from pain or illness. Rest in blissful peace dear. Know that you will be missed.

I picked up this lovely gown at The Free Dove yesterday. Over the years I’ve picked up many, many items from the place. I couldn’t even calculate how much money I’d have spent on clothing and other items if I hadn’t gotten all of it from The Free Dove. You will need to join the free group to pick up any of the items.

It’s a Late New Year Greeting

Hail to the New Year! Wow, time flies in Second Life. I should know as I’ve been here for eons. However, I didn’t come with the grid like a few of my “old” friends. I hope 2023 treats you kindly and that you stay safe/healthy in both lives. I much prefer to celebrate in SL. My cat would rather not be exposed to the fireworks noises. He did watch one of the pretty ones explode until it got too noisy.

Hello Fab Free’rs! I found some hot freebies waiting at the Sense event and I’m super excited to share them with you. Both the dress and the necklace are free group gifts by Alter at the Sense event. I can’t say for certain if the two were made to go together or it’s just a happy coincidence. Either way, I think they make an awesome pair. Keep reading and I’ll explain exactly how to get both items for free.

The Dress – Not only is this sexy little red dress free, it’s fitted for just about everyone. It comes in quite a few mesh sizes, and includes an alpha layer for classic avatars. You’ll find the “Vixen” dress by Alter at the Sense event. Toward the back of the event there is a row of several group gifts, this dress is a free gift for members of the Mejora tu Apariencia or MTA group. The MTA group is free to join. Simply join the group then click the gift box while wearing your group tag.

The Necklace – Like the dress, this “Vianney” necklace is a free group gift at the Sense event. For this gift you’ll need to be wearing the Sense group tag. The Sense group is also free to join. Also, the necklace has resize scripts for easy fitting.

P.S. Though not shown, I thought it would be good to mention, there’s also a free men’s gift by Alter for the Sense group at the Sense event. It’s a complete outfit with shirt, pants, and shoes. The outfit is called “Owen”, and it happens to be red and black which would match the dress perfectly.
