2000 Miles
I was feeling a little snow-bunny-ish today in these free gifts I picked up at SWANK! So I explored the grid, and found a ski resort! Which also inspired my song title, 2000 Miles, since I’m about 2000 miles from any snow skiing, and I’ve never had my foot in a snow ski in my life! (A little sad about it – but also, judging from the way I’ve waterskied in the past, is probably best I didn’t attempt it in the snow lol) *Check out the name of the ski lodge in the credits, heh,*

Whimsical Sunday Stroll
Hey faboo gang!
It’s a rainy day here in my real life world, a day to crank up those fairy lights and delve into some fun second life fashion!
I love to find designers who are *not* on the big designer list and introduce them to everyone. There are a helluva lot of good designers out there that you never hear about and who don’t even get a chance because they are overshadowed by those designers you *do* hear about every day! I like to share these “mom and pop” designers, the small businesses of the grid to show them some support.
This time around I have found a cute place called It’s Me. They have some freebies and dollarbies, but my eye caught this outfit which was still only 29L, I love the funky pattern on the overalls. It also comes with cute sneakers to match (not shown). This cute set which has both the top and the pants fits:

After Yesterday’s Rain
Happy Monday, Fabulous Readers! After yesterday’s rain, the dawn arrived with a nearly cloudless sky, so Ripley and I decided to take a journey to Felicite Isle, one of our favorite sims for relaxing. As small waves lapped against the shore, we paused among some wild flowers to capture a quick photo.
Fresh New Frock for Spring
I decided the other day to re-visit The Free Dove to see if there were any gifts recently made available, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover this free long sleeved dress from AvaGirl. I’m not sure if it is a new addition to The Free Dove’s line up, or if I just had never seen it before, but once I spotted it, I knew it was destined for my inventory. Featuring a full skirt that drapes to mid-thigh, a cute little cut out area on my tummy, and buttoned fasteners on the bodice, this frock made a wonderful addition to my spring wardrobe. Best of all, it is completely free! You have to be a member of The Free Dove group to pick it up, however, there is no group join fee, so this new outfit will cost you exactly….zero linden dollars. Now, that’s what I call a budget-friendly option!
